GEC 35 Churchill Spoiled Me GAW

Thx for the chance anyway joeradza joeradza . This is like when I see someone and try to be friendly with a wave. If they ignore me, I want to cuss at them. Lol

Oh well. Abcdgz is still entering more GAW’s, blissfully unaware of his good fortune. There could be a few unclaimed lottery tickets in his name.

Let the long weekend commence!
It doesn't put a damper on my BF experience. I just figured he enters so many he forgot. I always have something else to GAW.

joeradza joeradza I'm really sorry this turned into a negative experience. It is unfortunate the winner didn't respond did you pick a second number?

Unfortunately this turned into my first negative BF experience. Lots of unwanted chatter in the thread and an unclaimed prize. So since it was a GAW I made a unilateral decision and Gave it Away.
I'm very sorry your generosity was overshadowed by negativity. I hope now that it's over you will continue gathering with good cheer.

Oh sorry missed that. I enjoyed the GAW just the same thank you for hosting.

I won a prize, then not checked in on Bladeforums long enough that it was given to another member. It happens. It just becomes good fortune for another member!!!

The difference was that abcdef just didn't care. He was active and entered other gaw's but just never checked back.

Hey Alan
Thank you my friend for your amazing generosity!

Could not enter because of your generosity has already blessed me - I am carrying your beautiful Knife today - got it shaving sharp last night!

Thank you once again matey.

Great news Duncan. If I'd kept it, it would be hidden away never to see the light of day. The unfortunate life of most of my too many knives.

... I enjoy spreading the joy.

I'm honored that I was the person to whom Alan gave the canoe! His generous and thoughtful gift was certainly good fortune to me, and I can verify that it spread some joy to me, being the "canoesseur" that I am. Thanks very much, Alan, for the superb canoe. And thanks for being the kind of guy who can discuss anything with anyone, it seems. Alan was willing to talk about math, baseball, academics, archaeology, Jack Reacher novels, whatever. That's also a wonderful gift, to show your interest in what someone else enjoys!:cool:;)

Here are some photos I took this morning. (As usual, the knife looks considerably better than my pics might indicate.)

Congrats, GT! I was stoked when Alan told me that it was heading your way! No finer member to send it to.

A canoe for the canoe man Congratulations Gary Alan my friend simply awesome GAW, attitude and example you set. Great stuff all the way around.:thumbsup:

It couldn't have gone to a more deserving member. Anyway I always had a soft spot for math teachers/professors. As far as my discussion abilities, after 71 years it's all the unneeded junk pouring out of my tired brain!
With all the great covers we have to choose from, nothing speaks to me like rough "gum fuddy" black. Enjoy it in good health.
