Mine will get daily carry time, but what I wanted to say was I definitely have used my #62 pocket carver for cleaning up cuts in the shop.
there's probably other better ways, but I do like to trim up my projects with a knife.
I've been carrying mine around the house. I did sandpaper the split liner, and it's all good now. Been working the joint with oil. I'm very happy with mine. It's rock solid, which is impressive given the number of pieces in it. Can't wait for the bone whittler to show up.
I got my hands on 2, and both were proud enough to be annoying. It was a pretty easy fix, though we shouldn't have to. FWIW, I had to do the same thing to a 57 split back.Curious how many people are getting samples with a proud splitback? I have have flushed mine hoping it would seat but no change. Haven't sanded yet...

Mine is just proud a whisker. If it's still that way in a month or two and I still don't care, I might fix it.Curious how many people are getting samples with a proud splitback? I have have flushed mine hoping it would seat but no change. Haven't sanded yet...

You will be even happier when you get it in hand, the pictures don't do it justice. After seeing so many beautiful pictures of these Bloodwood English Whittlers, I regretted letting them pass me by, so now I've got one on the way. Definitely a mistake on my part.
