For a knife this size it should be heavier IMO. I really compare everything to my 33 which is heavier than the 68 but perfect for a cam tang slipjoint.Weak(er) pulls are a deal breaker for me.

Tube art is nice. No button in my tube.I like the tube art a bunch! No button?
Yep. The action on mine has improved with a flush and just from fiddling with it (opening and closing it).Weak(er) pulls are a deal breaker for me.
How do you flush them? Not too bad. Pull is a little on the weak side for my taste. And action came much more gritty than a typical GEC. A good flush sorted most of it out.
That's strange. I got a button in mine. It's the same artwork that's on the label. I thought they were doing a button in all tubes or none now?Tube art is nice. No button in my tube.
I got a button. And I agree the tube art is probably my favorite of the year.I like the tube art a bunch! No button?
There are usually a few buttons leftover. At the end of this run, if you really want one, call Joan Mae and she will probably sell you one. Last I checked they were under a buck.Tube art is nice. No button in my tube.
That's more about secondary prices. I'm curious about straight for a dealer. Just can't remember. I wanna say 85-90? I can't remember. Not important but just couldn't rememberThis probably needs to go to the GEC inflation forum.
2012 jigged bone was $86.75 and ebony was $99 but it was also stainless. I've only seen one drop for the new one, and that was at a slightly escalated price. Do you know what the MAP is?That's more about secondary prices. I'm curious about straight for a dealer. Just can't remember. I wanna say 85-90? I can't remember. They may vary a bit from knife to knife. Mine is a little weaker than I prefer, but not like the run of 66's were. I would have preferred a half stop though. Some say a knife this size doesn't need one, but the latest 15 is the same length and has one. It’s certainly not my preference, either, but I’ve never had #68 before, so I’m going to try one out.
Maybe it's the same jigged bone from the AAPK 86View attachment 1668754
Let the speculation begin
They did. One of the girls in the office told Bill "That looks like cowhide"and it stuck. No fooling. It's almost like they are just making up color names!?!
