GEC #77 Medium Barlow Impressions

Beautiful teaser pic of the sawcut. I think I will try to do some trading with one I was fortunate to get. I did not get a sawcut but trying to decide which I would like. I also like the blade combination, just not sure I would be able to actually put one in my pocket.
Looking forward to seeing all the upcoming pictures.
Take care,
Rick

Rather surprised to find this in my mailbox this morning....

Such a fine knife, more in depth notes later, but a teaser shot for now

Wow Dylan !!!!! That is what it is all about my friend !!!! Great picture of what I personally think will be a very fine knife . I will be anxiously waiting for your more in depth notes . I have to keep rolling back to take another look of that beauty .

It is not. I also don't think you'll be able to drop the sheepfoot blade because of the style kick it has, which is a real shame because it could and should sit much lower.
Nice coloring on yours! Is there a ramp in the blade well for the secondary?

My tracking says “out for delivery”!

Not that I see, unless you mean the below. But on second look I think you could file the kick in this position but it would be precarious and I don't plan to try it.

Very nice rich and uniform color on your Camel Bone, you got a good one!

So are most of you going to use it or put it up? For me it looks to be a great everyday carry knife.
I have an ironwood on the way. This question is a real quandary for me. Normally, everything I buy I put to use right away and this one does looks like the perfect EDC traditional knife. But at the same time, I know what this knife is worth to both collectors and on the secondary market (not that I'd ever contemplate flipping the knife).

Any one else have similar neurotic knife thoughts when it comes to potentially valuable knives?
