My second from this run arrived today. I’ll give it a couple weeks to think about it, but I’m pretty sure this one will be going into the EDC rotation also. GEC got a bit carried away with the polishing on this one, and took some of the sawcut off entirely. Just the excuse I needed to make it a user. I’ve been needing something to push me over the edge, to actually use a sawcut 77 for more than just pretty pictures.
The pull on the secondary of this one is very nice, fresh out of the tube. I’m also happy to report that a flush and oil worked miracles on the micarta secondary.

You might be pleasantly supersized with yours, I was. I got the email last Saturday and the one I received is amazing. I have always been a fan of the darker ironwood, light does amazing things to it.

Wow!!!! I’m blown away. You brought that knife from something that I’d honestly have no interest in owning, to a knife that I’m seriously jealous not to have. It’s gone from ugly duckling to drop dead gorgeous. It has that old Case kind of look to it. Dark, but with lots of depth and character.
