Everybody see this?

Now this is what I'm talking about  and STL, Mike, well done Sir!! :D:D:D:D:D

That spear blade is perfect. I had missed out on the first run of the #77 barlows because I was not aware you could preorder them, but I have my name on the list this time for a single-bladed blackwood. Should be a perfect companion for my #15 Sheepsfoot in ebony. :D

Oh yes! I have my 2 blade white bone reserved. That's a nice longish coping blade. Wondering it the smooth bones are going to be radiused like the last run of blackwoods or left thick. Hoping not radiused as that bone might chip too easily.

"Hoping not radiused as that bone might chip too easily."
Why would a small radiusing of the edges lead to chipping ?
The vintage Sheffield folders 'all' seem to be radiused including bone and these covers still are not chipped, even though they tend to be rather thin.

Yeah. I thought it was a well known fact that radii on Bone handles lead to better chip resistance...

The problem is, you might not be able to decide! :p I thought I liked the two blade knives, but I have now developed a preference for the slim simplicity of a single blade. I thought I preferred the #15 pattern TC Barlow, but the #77 Northfield really does fit my hand better. The only solution is to get plenty of each! :D

That is also my reality - my eyes and heart prefer the TC Barlow, but my hand and pocket prefer the #77 Northfield :D

Well color me wrong then. LOL. I'm sure I'll be happy either way.

I hope they stick to the full sized long pull on this one. Odd how in the last run the long pulls were shorter then the ones on a #15: picture taken by polymerhead

Seeing as how these are coming out soon I figured to push this back up a couple threads. After getting a TC Spearpoint Barlow in hand as well as a beer scout to simulate a two blade knife I'm seriously reconsidering getting a two blade for the added thickness/comfortability in use but my side that loves symmetry pleads no xD Can't wait to see some canvas micarta though

I know how you feel Tim lol. These will be great. The 77 size really does feel perfect in hand.

I now have the 2 blade TC Barlow and a @ blade#77 Barlow and the Beer Scout. I would have to say I am going single on the #77 Barlow this go around as the 77 is a considerably larger knife than the TC. It doesn't look that way in pictures but it was bigger than I thought. I had to get the 2 blade on mine because it was the full size wharncliffe and clip blade combo so had to have it.

I think the 77 will be perfect in a single. The TC I really like the double and sold my two singles.

Thank you for that Tex, I've been comparing my 77's with my double blade 56 dogleg and my 15's for a while trying to make heads or tails.

haha right Drew? It's never-ending indecisiveness but I've no doubt that I'll love either. If only natural canvas micarta had come on the clip points eh Mike ;)? Great sfo's as always. And coming out soon as well :o

Maybe I don't have the lingo down. But I was referring to the way the of green canvas micarta looked on the 92 talons. It had a gloss to it so I assumed there was a type of clear over that was then polished.

Maybe I will like what Tim is describing more. Never had micarta before.

You are right just looked up the description on website. So the canvas is always the exposed fibers, not a clear over them? Thanks
