GEC #77 Medium Barlow Impressions

I'm hoping that means they will build a Grand Daddy Barlow some day.

Correct, my thought was that a grandfather barlow would eventually show up....
 
Maybe since it's an SFO that Mike got to name it? I see your point, though. The 25 was the first GEC Barlow (not called small, medium, or anything else). The 15 is technically the "TC Barlow" so again, no size parameter in the name, and it is also an SFO.
 
The official name on the GEC site is "Barlow" as far as that goes. I have also called it the Yankee Barlow, just because Yankee is the nickname for that frame.
 
77= Ideal size Barlow.
I call it- "Perfect Barlow"
Cant wait for these to ship! One of my favorites!!

I forgot to add... It's almost shipping day!!!... and I'm just a bit north of Oklahoma so hope I get my knives first lol
 
Well, todays the day! I am already franticly reloading the usps tracking page waiting for the shipping to start. This was a bad day to have the day off...
 
For some reason I see a lot of people constantly checking their emails today. I see them pulling out their smart phones, jumping on the pc, and some even refreshing their email as they sit in front of the screen shaking a bit. :D

I guess the wait builds up the anticipation.

Anyone thinking about modifying their new 77. The thought to have some Hungarian Rosewood put on my canvas 77 has crossed my mind a few times. :eek: We'll have to see once it arrives.

Now, go check your email again. The notice may have been sent. :D
 
Be sure to leave out some milk and cookies for the mailman, and hang up your stockings near the mailbox.
