There’s are still a few drops out there, so keep an eye open.I missed all the drops today, sadly. Got busy and time passed me by. At least a few porch dwellers will get to show off their bounty.
Thanks, I’m going to try. It has been awhile since I’ve joined a lolly scramble. There’s are still a few drops out there, so keep an eye open.
Who’s left besides DLT?There’s are still a few drops out there, so keep an eye open.
GPK for the yellow rose.Who’s left besides DLT?
I miss Kenny....A marrow bone or a harness jack (especially a Waynorth!) would be great to land, but trying is not for the faint of heart. As an old porch member used to say, the hunt for a GEC is war.
Go to his site and you will know why? These new harness jacks are incredible. I wondered why I didn’t get a telegram from my normal source- I guess he change things. Looks like I’ll be on the trade forums trying to hunt one down. White bone gets my vote for MVP!
You're the Prince.I’m gonna patina mine up tomorrow,
We aren’t really supposed to discuss pricing and buying & selling here. GEC does not impose MAP pricing on their dealers. So I saw the prices KSF was selling the Waynorth's for, but they are basically one of a few MAP pricing dealers. I wonder what the other dealers will be getting as there is no max.
I like them both. I’ll take the clip/punch combination first because I like the aesthetics.Well talking about knives. What do you prefer? Clip/punch vs sheep/punch. And why?
I like both but prefer the clip/punch. I don’t love the feel of a sheepfoot blade in the meat of my fingers when I’m using the secondary blade/punch.Well talking about knives. What do you prefer? Clip/punch vs sheep/punch. And why?
For a harness jack, the sheepfoot makes tons of sense. Working with leather, you may have to make lots of cuts on some sort of cutting surface (maybe? I'm just speculating) and the straight edge of the SF you can really bear down on.Well talking about knives. What do you prefer? Clip/punch vs sheep/punch. And why?
I will refrain from pricing questions then, thanks. According to Joan Mae and one of my dealers, they do have MAP (minimum allowable) and retail (MSRP). They are not supposed to go below the minimum, but can go over MSRP.We aren’t really supposed to discuss pricing and buying & selling here. GEC does not impose MAP pricing on their dealers.
