GEC 86’s for 2023

These new harness jacks are incredible. I wondered why I didn’t get a telegram from my normal source- I guess he change things. Looks like I’ll be on the trade forums trying to hunt one down. White bone gets my vote for MVP!

So I saw the prices KSF was selling the Waynorth's for, but they are basically one of a few MAP pricing dealers. I wonder what the other dealers will be getting as there is no max.

I like both but prefer the clip/punch. I don’t love the feel of a sheepfoot blade in the meat of my fingers when I’m using the secondary blade/punch.

I do however think the sheep/punch makes for a cooler looking combo. Don’t get me started on a big meaty spear with a punch :D

For a harness jack, the sheepfoot makes tons of sense. Working with leather, you may have to make lots of cuts on some sort of cutting surface (maybe? I'm just speculating) and the straight edge of the SF you can really bear down on.

Like Travman Travman tho, I like the looks of the clip better and it seems to be more traditional. The SF sits up pretty high in the frame too, as noted by AnW AnW .
 
GEC's are getting harder and harder to buy with each new release, but these 86's are going insanely fast. By the time I click the link from the drop notification right when the email is sent out, they are already out of stock. Just using KSF as an example. I haven't seen anything yet from CK. GPK never sends email notifications for GEC drops despite me being on their email list, so that one is still a mystery to me.
 
Amen, missed two drops yesterday (decent price and gouger site) and fair offer in the f/s. Ill be damned if I pay off a flipper and i wont stay glued to the computer for a marrow bone so at this point i can just hear Aerosmith's dream on playing, c'est la vie.

I will refrain from pricing questions then, thanks. According to Joan Mae and one of my dealers, they do have MAP (minimum allowable) and retail (MSRP). They are not supposed to go below the minimum, but can go over MSRP.
Just stating what I was told.
