I really hope no one buys them at that price.... it'll only add fuel to the fire inside the scalpers.

I long for a world where the only people who buy GEC's are people who genuinely want them... I wish I learned about GEC before they became a target for those people. Maybe one day GEC will ramp up production and it'll become less of an issue. I guess in the meantime I'll see what I can get and hope people here who end up wanting to pass theirs along do so at a fair price.

amen, one of my least favorite term is "trade bait" dont get me wrong, i understand that trading is a natural part of the hobby. but if your sole purpose of purchasing gec is to snake another gec out, right to the block list.

I really like my Cody Scout but am very worried about the consequences of carrying it in the UK (not least jail time).
I like to use them not collect them, I can leave it at home with no consequences but not leave the house with it without good reason.
I had thought of trying to trade it for a non locker,not rare but one I could use.

Would that be acceptable on here?

Same here, out of stock before I could pay. I did manage to snag a river town bocote. Guess everyone was after the Waynorth, no surprise tho, they're beautiful. Think I benefited from the scramble for those and after I struck out there was at least one single jack left :cool:

Same here. As soon as the clock went zero I didn't even see the option to add to cart... Just instantly unavailable. Oh well.... I'll keep my fingers crossed and keep an eye on the exchange area of the forum.

What a shame... You'd think they would be fine with people speaking out about that issue. I don't use facebook so I have no idea what those groups are all about.
