I remember waynorth waynorth mentioning somewhere that going with the lighter sawcut lets more of the color through. I assume he was referring to keeping the black/very very dark brown as dark as possible? If we went with a deeper sawcut would it have been more red? It's beautiful as it is now, just curious how the sawcut affects the color.
