GEC #86 2021: Angus Jack, 2AB, Spring Street Barlow (BF Knife)

Hopefully Matt_WY Matt_WY will not mind if I use one of his photos as a Background scene to show what I have been doing lately .
Spend a lot of time going through this thread , and others related to the 86's , as well as checking my orders . I finally have the Forum Knife and my selection of the 2AB Knife actually on the way . One is in Seattle and the others are in Cincinnati .
Keeping my Very First GEC and Very First GEC Barlow handy as well as my recently favorite carry close at hand .

I am enjoying immensely all of the photos that folks are putting up too . Thank you very much to all of you for them .

Cant wait to see your selection Harry, hope you are on the mend and moving easily again! my luck finally turned for these as well. suppose it was a matter of time.

I am honored Harry, Old Engineer Old Engineer , I often post pictures, but seldom are they of the quality we see from some of the individuals on here. So appreciate hearing that you noticed it and was able to put it to use. Matt

It's going to be a fair bit of time before I get my Spring Street Barlow, which I expect to be the belle of the ball, so to speak. In the meantime though, I will get to continue to enjoy these.

Anyone think the new BF looks a lot like the blood red 77? i don’t have the new BF in hand yet so can’t say for sure how close they are color-wise, also gonna need someone to loan me a blood red 77, sheepsfoot preferred and I’ll get it right back to you….stole kamagong kamagong photo for comparison, hope that’s ok.

Yeah, I would have no issues if these guys wanted to stick around and contribute - we were all new once, right? That said, I have my suspicions that more than a few will bounce as soon as they get their knife. C'est la vie, I guess.

Interestingly enough, I've seen more that I would consider brown than I've seen red. But the red looking ones undoubtedly look red.

No Sheepfoot NF Barlow here, I'm afraid, but I do have the clip and the spear variants - I'm afraid those won't be leaving 😁.
