The AJ looks quite tempting. Macassar was used for a long time on Buck 110s and 112s. I would be fine with either medium rare or well done.

I hear you, having chased down other recent drops GSJ prices have been on the high side. I just didn’t want to go through effort to score one at a better price so I figured my time was more valuable than what I would save in $.

I hear ya, and I don't fault you, I'm all for the free market. And yes, if you want one you gotta jump when there's an opportunity. I'd rather not pay for that and I'll probably miss out, but that's my customer side of the free market.
Sorry for the rant, and once again, I have nothing against you or anyone buying what you want.
