That's a beauty. I can't wait for mine to arrive, going straight in the pocket.
Wait, wait, what? I just figured Mr. Howard drops by and delivers one of each new run to you in person!Angus steak, rare or well done!! I like those knives!! I seldom lolly-scramble, but I am on the hunt for meat!!![]()
I’m hoping for a well done also. Should have mine later this week.I am really hoping mine will be a "well done" model when it arrives!! Fingers crossed.

Bolster-of-the-Year Award should be granted!!
I'm really liking it. I'm just a little disappointed they had to drop "Angry" off of the name. All I charge for trademark infringement is a measly knife.![]()

After a day of staring out the front window for the mailman, my well done Angus Jack has arrived!
Great fit and finish and shaving sharp. The ebony is dark, but still has beautiful streaks of red and dark brown. It’s slightly larger than I was expecting, and larger than I normally carry, but the blade combination is so ideal that it is going straight into the pocket anyway! If I am going to nitpick, I think I am going to file the kick on the sheepsfoot ever so slightly, as the tip is very close to proud.
Pull is a solid 5.5, and the main is easily pinched open. I am tremendously satisfied with this knife - I’ve always thought the 86 was best as a barehead jack.

Kind of reminds me of Queen's Heritage series from a decade or so ago. Only, I suspect these are more robustly turned out, fittingly for a Toro!
If I were getting one, I'd be after the Medium Rare, as it's my plate preference too....but even Well Done beef can be good if it's quality, and these exude quality![]()
