GEC Abilene...did someone's wishes just come true?

I have had some 80 year old knives that have an acrylic about like that and you can find things in it like starring at the clouds. I had some osage #85's made, but this is the first general run and I hope they add it to the catalogue.

There will be a green bone Tidioute and Northfield Copperhead bone, Yellow Rose bone, African Blackwood, Burnt Stag, and Natural Stag.

This seems like a classic 4" stockman.

What is the weight on these? I like the looks of them but if they are heavy I wouldn't carry it. GEC knives tend to be on the hefty side.

They look thick, and at 4" closed they will be quite big. However, they may carry well. These not only look good, they look like good users too, depending on how they carry. Heck, that's what they make coat pockets for, isn't it ;).

I won't be any bigger than a Case 6375. I just need to figure which one to buy. ;)

If they are as big as a 75 that is to big for me. I usually carry a Case 6347 they are about the perfect size for me, but if you like a large knife this one looks good.

No half stops anywhere on this one.

Thank you, I'll add this to the list. And, just to add to the thread, here's the Tidioute Bone.

the no half-stops thing sealed the deal for me, I ordered an osange wood one. Now I only have to wait 4-5 weeks for it to show up in Germany. Looking forward to a really huge knife, I was thinking of a Queen Cattle King, which is very similar, but the aesthetics of the GEC won out.

My usual guy has the osage orange (drool)) I' ve just seen the stone moss green bone on the GEC site(slobber)
but to tell the truth I've been hankering for something with Copperhead Jigged bone for a couple of years now but not managed to hook one up.
If these are coming out in CHJB t'would be a great prize for me if I could get one.
Mike I know you don't ship to OS but I have connections stateside that would see it through to me -is that a possibility? Is it gonna be CHJB?
cheers
