Gec built 2022 Remington Bullet knife

Do I spy "Sterling" on the shield?

Kudos to Foggy Hill for contracting two mfg's to supply Remington knives at two very different price points. I was kinda bummed about them switching to B&S this year and planned on skipping it; but with the GEC Grand Daddy option I'll probably buy both.

yes, it has the Sterling shield like the premium Remington models made by Camillus....

I will absolutely be grabbing one of these if at all possible. THIS is the knife I wanted when I bought all my beautiful #97s!!

Same. Hope they have a bit more snap than the 97s, also hope they do a large run like they did with last year's Remington trappers. It was refreshing to have those readily available, in many places for a long time, even at the higher than average price they listed for.

I don't see any info about this grand daddy on the GEC website. Where is everyone pulling this info from?

I was recently a hair away from buying an antique grand daddy Barlow at an antique shop, now I’m glad I didn’t but stressed out I’m not going to make this drop lol

Does anyone know what the closed length is on this new run? Sorry if I missed that in the discussion.

That would be great, would make it more pocketable.

indeed, i was sitting in the clinic looking up various OAL for even my largest gecs in the collections and was trying to gauge if id try for it. Guess it would be a wider 65 without that ridiculous copperheadish bolster. i suppose if the price is right and its available
