GEC Rendezvous and Picnic!

Always an interesting visit there, been a while since the last time, I might try to get there but work and a move into a new home puts be behind the eight ball for side trips :(

So I was working in my laboratory, but I can't seem to get the settings tweaked quite right for the teleporter.

I've got a close second, though. If anyone is interested, I'll shoot some live videos of my time at the rendezvous on my Instagram. If anyone wants to tune in, I'll be there on Friday bright'n early. I'll post some other stuff on my story too for those who can't tune in live.

My Instagram is thestroppingyounglad if anyone wants to follow. I'll try and get some extreme close-ups of Charlie. ;)
 
Well I have been in the beautiful North Dakota Valley City for the last two days.
Thank you Paul and Nanc - wonderful friends and Hosts.
We are SO looking forward to this Rendezvous- meeting our Friends who we haven't had the chance to shake hands.
I consider myself to be so lucky in life to be in this moment - missing my wonderful Sue- but a knife trip for this amount of time would drive her - well a little like me- a wee bit crazy

I know what you mean! Brittany is taking the drive with me and staying overnight, but she's not attending the Rendezvous itself.

As soon as I start gabbing about pocket knives she starts looking for something tall to jump off of!

It sounds like you were in good hands out in pheasant country.
 
Even the best of intentions sometimes go awry. I had tentative plans for the Rendezvous this year but stuff happens and I had to change my plans. That's two years running now. Maybe next year. Have a great time folks! I look forward to seeing some photos and discussion during and after.

Although I was never able to make his acquaintance in person, I did buy knives from Bob. With the way you fine folk remember him so fondly, sorta tells me, we'd have gotten along nicely at these proceedings
