so -- 10' 4" Viper kayak -- looks a lot like an Equinox 10.4 with a different label -- which gets decent reviews as a beginner 'yak.
anyone here familiar with them and are they any good?
if yes, I can score a pair for me and SWMBO for less than $350 new according to the sale flyer i got in the mail today.

Will that thing float you?????

says it's good to 300# -- that means I have room for a cooler or daypack.

if my store doesn't have them in stock, you willing to check the green store down the road from you for me?

oh, yeah - it's a good thing you didn't go with me today -- he had a sweet grinder and tabletop gas forge.

sold the Savage yesterday -- got $350 and 130 rounds of .40 fmj.

and i didn't know either -- got the new sale flyer in the mail today and they're on the back page.

That's a nice looking kayak vik. My son works at that store too. Hell of a price.

If that kayak is the same as the Equinox, that link you posted said it's good for 275 lbs. I'd have to lose weight first, haha.

Anyone know anything about micrometers? I'm looking at something 0-1" for occasional use when I need a bit more accuracy than my calipers. Would the Mitutoyo 103-260-99 be decent?

Who did you kill to get those? Is it true that Guyot is out of business?

dunno, but even those tapered bottles are getting hard to find, so i bought a couple.

the lids? thanks to Derek for pointing me at an Ebay guy. only took two weeks to ship ;P but i got them :D

the 38 oz., large straight sides Guyots? those involved dead bodies... probably overpayed, but i has some.

Where's that Bladite guy and his outdated list? Haven't seen a chrome divtul before. Maybe one heck of a polish job but I don't think so.

Anything Mitutoyo is good. Just make sure you get a master with it and it should be good. Stay away from the digitals though. Cause if your just gonna use them ocationally and your luck is like mine, the batteries will be dead when you need it.
