That's a cool rock, but I'll have to agree with mrn8, it looks nothing like my deck. :D

You guys sure like talking about your decks. I, for one, have a big deck.

Geez guys cut it out........I dont have a deck big or small just a patio.

I get tired if I lay too much wood.
Looking back at that pic, my deck looks old and weathered.

Somehow I just can't see a BK8 laying somewhere in that chest. I call decoy. I may or may not have something like that.

ever wonder how i store my extras?

Yeah. That's just his bk11/14 & Remora chest.
He has identical chests for each full sized Becker.

This might sound weird........I have 2 decks.

One in the front and one in the back?
That's not weird. It's actually quite common with deck enthusiasts.

Well, what did you think? Worthy of the hype?

Sorry for delayed response, work has been consuming.

Honestly, that's tough for me to answer. The hype that goes along with Pliny, how can it possibly live up to the it? Beer nerds piss their pants when you mention Pliny. If you tell them you found it at a local store, they will be in their car before you can finish your sentence (at least the ones I know). In fact I told a couple people at work I had stumbled upon it in stock at a store 20 minutes from my house and they didn't have a 1 bottle limit (lots of stores that sell Pliny will only sell 1 bottle per customer, due to high demand and shortage of supply), and a few coworkers demanded the store location. I told them it was an hour and a half drive no traffic from our job, they said that's fine and still wanted to address.

So my honest assessment; a great great beer, but magical it is not. I will say, it has the silkiest mouth feel of any beer I have ever tasted, especially considering it is a double IPA. The hop presence is strong but balanced, it is intensely drinkable. Slightly floral and intensely smooth. If you see it for a decent price pick up a couple.

Someone posted this on BCUSA, and I laughed myself silly.

That's pretty funny. Do they have something against us? Stupid question I know but I don't go there.

Nah, I don't think so. I think it is funny either way though.

Nah, it was a thread about the BK2. As with all knives, some like it, some don't, no biggie.

My knifemakers challenge knife at Ethans. (I think) I'm not sure if I'm happy with it or not. Something just doesn't sit well with me. Whadda you guys think?
