The exact number was guessed after my post that someone was close. It is within the 6 numbers that Phil has listed. Get another maker that you know to guess and split, better yet get 6 more and make deals with all of them to split box. One number is all it takes to get the second box.:D

Guys I'm not sure if this will help, but two of the numbers have been guessed again, #43 and #47 (twice), yet Jim is still calling for someone to guess the right number again so he can give away the second box. Perhaps that means we can strike off 43 and 47 to just leave 38, 41, 44, 56?!

Contest is officially Over, The magic number is and was 56. I enjoyed the diversion and hope you guys enjoyed playing along.

I would like to see knives or jigs out of this material. I have not bought every knife with it being used on, but have purchased about 10 so far. It really makes a nice handle on slippies or fixed blades. I have some samples of it being used on my sale thread.
