Getting frustrated, Can't get GW at store

"how about.........shut the hell up and go away!"

Wow, now that is what I call an intelligent rebuttal! I can see you aren't up to rationally discussing this topic so there is no point in any further comment. Will leave you to your beanie babies....

Hey, SKUNK,

I would greatly appreciate a shot of that knife with something else nextr to it for comparison purposes, a production warden would be nice

On second thought maybe that ain't such a good idea, as it would just get us all lathered up about a knife we can't have.

i guess a better way to explain it would be to drink half a bottle of pig nose, set it on your desk, any way you want, then look at the line, you know, the level of the booze, well it's level right?

even though you are fu@ked up the line is still level.

works every time

Folks shouldn't complain...quite so much.

While the complaining was going on, this old man (and I do mean old man) managed to score a Muddy GW and a Satin Tiger GW.

All by using the system some find unfair and economically unsound.

Play the game for awhile before you reject the system. I know it has to be frustrating...I've been frustrated myself. But if you can let that frustration go, the game actually becomes fun. Whether you're a winner or a loser TODAY...you can turn it all around TOMORROW.

That said, of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion.:D

Happy New Year, Busse clan and Busse fanatics. And Happy New Year to everyone else, too.

it does however, allow more people to buy more knives. and i would bet jerry has a sufficient profit margin.

sometimes the best business isnt looking for the highest profit.
Does it really allow more people to buy more knives? Or does it promote hoarding on the part of the few at the expense of the many? I'd suggest that a much fairer arrangement would be to sell Busse knives at closer to their true market values. That might slow down sales a little, but it would give EVERYONE a greater opportunity to purchase them.

And I won't argue your point about Jerry's profit margin. It's obviously large enough so that he doesn't have to concern himself with such petty details as providing fair and reasonable access to all of his potential customers.

oh ok, so...........a(a) + b(b) = m(c)(c) + E = less complaining, more paying attention = get what you want.

i honestly think most people buy 1 - 3, no more. some buy many, but the minority. i have only bought more than one on two occasions, both were for someone else, who turned out not to want either. so now i have an extra orange, a user and a keeper. my extra blk g10 is on its way to another, at a very small profit, about 10.00, maybe 15.

that said, i do think the low prices allow for a greater overall market. the gw offerings are a bit different and have been like ganzas in a way.

but look at the fbm. at 400.00 for the base model, it is more than affordable for a model of that size and heft. id love an le, but cant afford it. so i have a cgfbm on the way.

try not to look at the game warden sales as indicitave of the whole busse marketing strategy.

he offers knives in so many ways, at so many price levels, most people are bound to find a price range and opportunity that they like.

but not everyone will be pleased, no matter what.

Morimotom,

That looks suspiciously like an equation; ok, at least a linear relationship.

When I signed on to this Forum, I swore I would not 'infest' its inhabitants with my unfortunate tendency toward loquacity, polysyllability, AND that alternate language often called mathematics. I have therefore refrained, despite great suffering on my part, from expressing myself in the elegant and eloquent phraseology of mathematics.

And there you go employing your own dialect. Despite this, I shall try to contain myself.;)

Happy New Year, colleague and nouveau Hog.:)

And Jaxx...I'll stay up a bit longer and keep playing the game. If I see another Satin Tiger, I'll snag it for you. (If I believed in luck, though, I'd say mine had run out for the moment...)

i for one, would appreciate any loquaciousness from you, my math loving cohort.

love your avatar btw.

although my equation may lack any true linear thought process, the fact that you noticed is enough. for i, too, admire the writings of the great einstein. (but, admittedly, dont understand more than 10 percent)
