How do you know someone was whittling wood?

You saw-dust!
That was actually a good knife joke. 🤠
A man walked into an enchanted forest to chop down a tree.
The tree said to him “You cannot chop me down, I am a talking tree!”
The man replied, “That may be true, but you will die-a-log”
And this one was excellent... I bet the tree "groaned" on its way down as well. 🤣

I've seen the Ghost of Christmas Past!! 🤣 View attachment 1706502
(and it is a beard hair!! 😲)
I’m not gonna lie, I’m very happy with our sawcut hemlock bone forum knife, but I voted for smooth white bone from the very beginning!! That is incredible, thank you for sharing pictures Charlie! It would be cool if we can make that configuration happen next year 😁😉
There's a name for people without beards ... women
I think there’s a new name kids are using these days for those people, “non-binary” I believe it was, but don’t quote me. I’m going to cut it out now 😄

Not a Joke but a poem about this Giveaway Charlie! Man, each time I see a giveaway, I often say no thanks because I am so very lucky to have such good friends who have been so generous, this time I would like to see if I can enter please Charlie, but if I were to win, would like my friend Paul Hilborn to receive this outstanding knife, Paul's generosity is incredible and he has looked after so so many on the porch and outside of it.
Paul now is recovering from Major surgery on his Knee and I know for a fact this Knife would lift him through the roof - which he deserves, as do so many others here - so good luck everyone!

So instead of a Joke, I thought of this Poem.....

Charlies Giveaway:

Sitting on my porch while Whittling today, I just happened to spy this incredible giveaway

Although this Knife I truly would love, to have it passed on would score points from above

My Knife's Wharncliffe Blade with Swage to the point, Walk and Talk so smooth with fresh oil in the Joint

Each slice I make deep into the Wood, the Blades edge slices with ease, just as it should

One slip with that Blade and it reveals that Crimson Red Flow, it adds to the scars from times long ago

With the Knife users curse I stem the flow with a plaster, and make sure this time The Knife obeys it's Master

When finished I lay down that small Wooden Toy, and hope that my wee Grandson plays with it with so fun and so much Joy

Speaking of Joy when my Friend first holds Charlie's Knife, these will be the times that are great in a Knife Lovers Life.

Knife Joke sure to emit a Groan that I mixed up with a internet search...

person 1: "My Knife's better than me'
person 2: "How can your Knife be better than you?"
Person 1: "Because I am living Life on the edge but my life has no point.
A poet and a jokester? This I knew already, thank you my friend. Now I know there's a joke in here somewhere with my recent left knee addition which includes a Surgeon, new knee, scalpel, under the knife etc... but the meds and Physical Therapy keep me from putting it all together 😁

Charlie, what a kind and generous GAW. A lot of funnier people than me have posted so far... I had to use some internet help, but found one that's fitting.

I heard about a knife club and applied to join, but I was rejected as I couldn't make the cut.

Luckily the Porch isn't like that. Merry Christmas to all!
