If it's anything like the Viper Fortis I will pass.
Had to return my first knife ever due to almost nonexistent detent and severe lock stick.

I can speak for mine, neither are true. Carried the CF today, very light, flies open by flipper or flicking it. I've been trying to find something wrong with it and i can't, the fit and finish is great.

Just got mine in. I am completely happy with my example (#189)

Perfect detent, great flipping, and the thumb hole works perfectly well for deployment either with the thumb or middle finger. Blade is razor sharp and perfectly centered. The carbon fiber scales are beautiful and give great traction. I'll try to post some more pics shortly.

Fixed blade arrived today, I'm not sure why they shipped it separately from my GMP2 but nevertheless, it's an awesome knife as well. Very classy and great ergos.

It is indeed a beautiful knife; mine (#176) is not quite as perfectly centered as jfindon's example.

Yes, all forms of opening work perfectly, at least on mine.
