Hi.
Nice collection there Worldwood

It's been a while since i've finished last blade.... a lot of work offshore this year.. but now i'm back and knife making again.
Missed my workshop a lot...

Two latest knives:
Small one is a 7 5/6" neck (carbon fiber and NCV1 steel ~O1)
Big one is 17 4/5" NZ3 steel with stabilized maple from burlsource. Great stuff.
1500 satin hand sanded bevels and polished spine and handle. (heavy piece 24oz)
Both with vulcanized fiber liners

Another small camper

about 12" overall length, Grenadill scales. NCV1 carbon steel (~AISI O1). 1500 hand sanded satin finish, polished spine and handle. SS pins and tube.

Beautiful knife! I love the grenadil wood on the handle. What did you use to finish it?

Hi tedinatl. I hand sanded it to 2500 grit, keep in linseed oil for a day and wax it with carnauba wax paste.
I like this wood very much cause its dense, heavy and hard but it is really hard to turn it and glue it.
