Not a gd pic but i thought id share it anyway..This is a piece of PUMICE i picked up in a streambed while hunting deer in TAUPO..Lake Taupo is a volcanic crater (238 square miles big)...This is by far the largest piece of pumice i have seen (31 inches in circumference)...i imagine it slipped into the flooded stream ,then got stuck and beat itself round??...Pumice floats.........................FES

Yesterday when my girl and I and the dogs made it to the river we sat and carved for a few minutes. Sitting on a moss covered rock in the river. Last sunday we found a tree about 3 feet in diameter that had recently fallen. Inside the split open giant was all different shades of wood. I took a little piece and shaped it. Sitting on the rock yesterday with my dorked up tip on my CB I made a dorked up carving :-p
