An exiting GAW for its topic, 2 outstanding knives are waiting for the winners
As always a lot of great photos and a lot of great knives
Here is my photo, a newly arrived knife with some fresh lemons right from the tree
Here's a pic of my Case Stockman in carbon steel. Patina from everything under the sun. This knife is abused every day probably more than it should be, but I love it! Just took this photo at work. Stuck into a cedar shake...can you guess what I do?
Now I don't quite know if I make the post requirements, but I'm always hanging around and I appreciate all the people in here. You have all taught me a lot!
I posted this picture a couple days or so, ago and it being just about my favorite foto, of the ones I've taken, I thought I'd use it as my entry in this wonderful giveaway. I don't think it can win just on it's own merits, but I like it and I hope you folks do too.
I have the feeling, just because something is "OLD" doesn't mean it still can't do it's job. My mom found it in her garage. I couldn't believe it was still in it's original sheath? I spent 3 days saddle soaping to soften this sheath up, then mink oiled it. The Knife... both blades were locked solid with corrosion... used some penetrating oil and worked for an hour to get it to open/close smoothly. This has to be the "BIGGEST" folder I've ever seen in my life?! It's 9 1/4 INCHES long open?! Check out the bitena on these blades? If only this knife could talk? Hope you enjoy the pic? It's night time, brightest area/backdrop i could find.

I'll try tomorrow to get some better pics of this knife... if that's cool... since it's the same knife?!
As a short time forum member I hope that my entry in this GAW is accepted. These two Gum Fuddy or Rough Black handles are one of my favorites. Gum Fuddy was the nickname given to some Case knives made during a pivotal time in American history.
Here is my entry, and many thanks to you Duncan, and to Paul for your generosity. And of course to Charlie who has brought so may wonderful patterns to life!
Since I'm maybe guilty of overposting Charlie's wonderful knives, here's another knife that I just photographed. Photobucket is being cranky and not letting me rotate the pic. I'll do it when Photobucket starts cooperating.
*. Changed photo entry because Photobucket won't let me rotate my original entry, despite a week's worth of trying.
Very Generous Duncan .... my humble entry
A pair of Colonials I rescued & reworked ... and like Charlie's special Barlow, scaled with Walnut from an old Gun Stock.
I just realized that I had posted the same photos before that I used here!! Oops! Here is a brand new photo, this time of my lovely 85. Have this pattern on the brain these days for some odd reason. . .
Thanks again for the chance!
Brian
As this is my 30th post, I don't think i meet the requirements, but figured I'd share in the spirit of homemade and passed on.
Here is a small drawing blade my grandfather made from an old file, along with the knife he carried while in service, along with a folder I found in his tackle box.
Charlie's knives are some of my very favourite! I missed out on these when they were available. Thanks for the opportunity!
