I completely agree. The S&W versions are total dogs and I wouldnt touch one with a 10 foot pole. This is pretty much common knowledge among walther owners. Thats why german proofed P99's demand a higher price. They may have the same designation, but what S&W makes isn't a walther.

Get the 17. I have all the flavors in 9mm & a 21 in the stash as well. I love my 1911's but carry my Glock 19. I am gun & knife poor, I want them all.
 
Gun threads are cool but sometimes people try to hard to express their views ,I thought I would just slow it down before anyone got into a " hurt feeling stage & names calling" Firearm threads do it...
I wished I had a G19 to compare to my XD9
 
Gun threads do it, knife threads do it, martial arts threads do it and I'm fairly certain that forums dedicated to Beanie Babies, Black Sabbath, Doberman Pinschers and Tyco Toy Trains suffer the same dynamic. It's human nature.

Seriously, if you want something thats as reliable as a glock, but more refined and more accurate, then get a H&K. Probably the most ergonomically comfortable pistol out there, a tack driver and very very concealable.

I've got all sorts of nines, but my walther would be the last to go.

I would have laughed pretty hard, not at the mistake but because it would have certainly thrown this thread off topic, and it is almost unheard of for a thread to stay on topic in the RC forum for two pages and this one has been going for FIVE unhijacked pages.
