Did any of the parties lose any money?
Did any of the parties not receive merchandise that was traded for?
Did any of the parties receive grossly inferior or misrepresented merchandise?

Unless I'm missing something, what I see is a deal in progress that was abandoned when Dann decided to sell/trade his knife to someone else w/o notifying Nakano that he was withdrawing his offer. OK, what did I miss?

I think that about sums it up.

I really don't think this should have become a GB&U thread in the first place.

Trading is between 3 and 10 times harder than just using good old cash and cash equivalents. Everybody likes money. Not everybody likes every knife.

You can expect to waste time in negotiating trades as a part of the way the trading game is played.

Why I would chime in on this lame thread, I have no idea...

Yes, exactly...:barf: .....

"I like Dann and Kin, but Kin was wrong; PERIOD; he didn't ask FIRST."

So you taught him a lesson... I am sure he will remember that...

This is such a long thread unattributed quotes could be confusing -- let's try to make it clear who we're quoting and who we're speaking to.

David1967 quoted and responded to a post from Glockman99. Then he quoted RGRAY without attribution:
"I like Dann and Kin, but Kin was wrong; PERIOD; he didn't ask FIRST."

... and then David1967 wrote:

"So you taught him a lesson... I am sure he will remember that..."

It's not clear to me who taught whom a lesson, or how, or whether you realized you were quoting two different people, David.
