God Save the Queen!!

and.... a Queen Cutlery muskrat, with turkish clip and wharncliffe blades.... one of the Classic Bone series, apparently. This one has really pretty bone handles... so perfect, they almost look like delrin...

Yes Mike and somewhat rare as Camillus made much more ka-bars tha Queen did.
Cami’ and Queen made knives for each other too, A lot of knives! Ka-Bar’s history is all over the place after 1939 from what I recall. The best vintage metal ever used some say is from this period, and on any knife of course. Very sought after these pre-WW2 examples.
Again from memory, Queen and Camillus enter the picture in the 40’s.
The Olean Cut. Co. Stamp disappears in the early 50’s, now other than that I just follow the lines of every knife. Believe it or not…

Thanks Gus. I haven't had much luck researching Kabar in terms of who made what knife. I've got a couple of pretty nice ones that I'll have to take a better look at. I was assuming they were actually made by Kabar or more probably Camillus, but now that I know they might be Queens...
