Scrolling back through this thread a second time I'm not seeing anyone who he's actually screwed, though.
Maybe we just have definitions.
To me, getting the run around but eventually getting what you paid for or getting your money back isn't getting screwed.
To me, getting screwed is never getting what you paid for or never getting your money back.
People seem to have been inconvenienced and annoyed, but I haven't seen anyone confirm that they weren't made whole. Unless I missed one.
I'm not trying to defend him, I think the overwhelming evidence presented here shows that he's a terrible businessman.
But I don't see anything that suggests he's a crook.
Just a scatterbrain.

I never said he was a crook. And it does seem like you are defending him.

Well, we do have different definitions of what it means to be screwed. He screwed with people so much he got himself banned from here. He did things that go beyond poor business practices. Basic human communication is what is needed to elevate one's self beyond the level of dirt bag in my book. He is not just a scatter brain. If you see all the stuff he did as just that, well, then I don't have much else to say.

All good, I wasn't trying to pick a fight.
I think we can both agree that neither of us will be buying a sheath from Eli at any point in the future.
 
Agreed. i had very similar experience with Eli at godspeed. at the end of the day. i think eli is a cool guy and he is doing the best he can. my sheath did take a very long time but i am extremely pleased with the work eli did and this thing is awesome.
i recently purchased an expensive knife from knivesshipfree. bark river STS-7. knife is sick. but they sent me a crappy kydex sheath with it. its ok. but Eli sheath is the best and i love the color and build quality. eli doesnt need me to fight his battles but i was frustrated with the wait time. but the sheath is incredible. Thanks everyone.
