Cougar,

Thanks for the cross-link.

Educational reading.

The other post really clinched it for me.

Any ideas where these lights can be purchased, other than the Goncz website? (I make it a habit not to pay MSRP)

I'd like to see one of the 2 cell lithium lights firsthand, and judge for myself.

I know I said I wouldn't purchase one of these, but after seeing John's reply, and the stuff in the other thread, as well as whats posted over at the CPF, I am compelled to see for myself if this light lives up to it's claims.

CODE 3CODE 3

We as manufacturer do not discount any of the products. Due to the demand probably no dealer will either.

There is www.Onestopknife.com will have it soon as a shipment is prepared for Him. Talk to Kevin "Nice Guy"!!!

Or we can offer you a deal that you can't refuse:

give us the order and we ship you M-2, you test it, you like it, you pay for it.

if you do not like it ship it back and no hard feeling.

We pay for the shipping to You. For the eventuality that you returning it you pay for the return.

You may also post your "unbias" opinion!

CAUTION: Do not look into the light as may temporaraly will blind You!!!

Thanks, John

Perfect for a passaround.
JGoncz, You would get a lot of buyers on this forum if you offered one for a testing.
How much are they. I might buy one and passaround it.
TheBadGuy, please don't mention THAT :)
I know what's going on in your mind about me and passarounds.
It was only that very bad week I swear.

John;

Email me with ordering details, and I'll take you up on your offer.

I'll keep the light for 2 weeks, and if I like it, you provide me a phone number where I can give you credit card info after the 2 weeks have passed.
As you stated, if I don't like the light, I'll send it back at my expense, and owe you nothing.

Thank you for the offer, and I will give you an unbiased opinion after I use it. If I decide to keep it, and my review is positive, maybe we can work out some sort of a discount in exchange for my review.

It would be certainly nice from Mr Goncz to ship one of his flashlights for free to have it evaluated - quite different from his behaviour on candlepowerforums where he took the money and run - and people still wait on the goods they paid for - so the saying goes like that:

Buy from that guy and your money is GONCZ!!!!!!

See for yourself:

New Goncz thread on CPF

Out of that thread by one unlucky out-of-his-money guy:

Quote:

chamenos: yes, I apid for a Goncz M3 with spare bulb and did not receive anything except promises of compensations for the delay (free battereis, cell extender, etc.). for about 2 months Mr. Goncz does not respond at all to my calls.

and yes, I'd like to see him judged, but how should I do that? for some 80 or 90 dollars wage war against someone who isn't even worth a second thought? and all this internationally? no way, I have better things to do.

but as I said, I am still quite angry, but out of options...

His lights might be quite nice - (while I would doubt that too) - but in regards to credibility this guy not even gets my 2€cents :barf:

And it seems I´m not the only one - while I normally do not like posting out of private email correspondence this one might be a nice adder to this thread and is well deserved by the guy who first of all should ship what people paid for before trying to do the same on this forum too - this is from a conversation between an american flashlight bulb manufacturer and a CPF member:

Quote:

I suggested that "XYZ" (name deleted) read the Goncz posts on CPF and cautioned "xyz" to consider asking for cash with order. "XYZ" said, "funny you should mention that because we've already had an incident with him along those lines."

Endquote

And in regards to Kevin and his plan to offer those lights - with the obvious very poor business practices and wired behaviour on this forum too I would very much doubt Kevin still planning to do so - at least until all those open cases of "money paid - no goods sent" are properly resolved - and I just hope Kevin didn´t paid any money upfront for that planned shipment.

I just emailed my address to John.

I'm curious to see if this light lives up to its expectations.

I understand John has some issues with others over at CPF. and I hope he resolves those issues soon.

Mu unbiased opinion will follow when the light arrives.

Ok, so why is it that some of you people are thinking of dealing with this guy?

Second that Keith,

and I wouldn´t give him the slightest chance of "gonczing" off new customers in reviewing (and therefore advertising) his lights - but to each his own

I talked to John today and told him point blank that it was extremely unprofessional for him to have shown this behavior on the forums - any forums. I told him that it reflected poorly on not only him, but myself as well as a possible dealer for his product line. He apologized up and down and said he'd come back here and apologize as well.

I also told him that if he wants to do any business with me, he will get any outstanding product issues resolved this week. That means if you are missing a charger, light, etc, you need to contact him ASAP and make sure he knows you are owed product, etc.

Past that, the products I have handled are pretty cool. Hopefully he gets his act together

hi guys!
just for the record:
a few months ago I paid for a M3 with spare bulb, received the promise of a free set of batteries and a free cell extender but got nothing except a billed CC.
since there seems to be a chance that a solution may finally arise I e-mailed John G. again and also contacted Mr Ted Bear of CPF ...
I'll tell you if everything works out fine. I'd really like to see those lights in action and reviewed and I am saddened of what happened before.

KEVIN,
I am sorry if I offended you and your site. I was unaware, that the forum is Yours and may not posted the Size... lines.

As to the complains if they are valid we will take care of it.

A multi Million Dollar investment we will not jeopardize it for couple of hundred Dollars. It would not make sense.

We received quite a few viruses and lost lot of files in the 'crash' if someone is out there and have ordered any thing and did not received it let us know and as a 'goodwill' we will add value of 20% in value. They can contact us:

Phone 818-343-3007, Fax 818-343-3052, Email; goncz1@earthlink.net

With some delaye we delivered the orders some maybe late which was due to some DoD Tenders that I can not get into details.

I found quite interesting, that the same guys that were jumping on me at CPF and started it here. We do not insult anybody unles he/she unjustly attacks us. We have the products and to enter the forum is the sole purpose to inform who ever wants to be. The orders we accepted from the forum it was courtesy.

Any orders let you guys buy it or order it from your dealer.

Some posting was made by some posters that have no idea what a task is to bring a single produts to the market. The volks in the manufacturing do appriciate, that in a short time we brought a whole new inventions into production and placed on the market.

In the future we will not respond to any negative posts.

As to testing the lights we can spare one or two to Volks that are retired or for some other reason on limited budget. If any interest post it or send us a private Email and possible phone number.

As to the specs: we stating the info that is provided to us by the reputable manufacturers. Questioning the output: we stated often the energy that we work with and let someone else do the comparissons.

So have peace!

Cordially

Then..... how do you improve your product(s)? Not resoponding to customers is IMO the biggest mistake any company can make.

I made the original CPF link because it was unfinished business and I thought before anyone deals with this person they should have all the knowledge they can have.

My personal opinions on this matter aside, it looks like goncz is still a basic member. Isn't that against BF rules to advertise without some kind of paid membership?
