Guess what - on other forums (a link to that is posted in the recent CPF thread) he even posted under a different alias advertising his own lights as a wanna-be happy user of that light - so I think he would also find a way in this forum to plug his lights breaking the rules.
And it really makes me wonder why someone claiming DOD contracts and millions of dollars spent on engineering needs to do such shameless self-advertising in end-user forums to sell single pieces of his lights - did I ever tell that even befor he showed up on CPF I got an email from him advertising his products to me obviously after he saw my posts on CPF about my 1000lumen 50USD DIY MR16 project light as the email went like - wanna buy a REAL light
While I also don´t understand the claimed millions of dollars for the roll-out - NiMh´s cells were delevoped 10 years ago and Xenon Welch Allyn or Carley bulbs are available to everyone too - so I might have missed something in regards to the novelty of the design which in my eyes is just the combination of the above mentioned items - which after all isn´t really rocket science.

Just to respond to klaus posting I just followed some strings and I find his Website www.gernot-erler.de
As fluent in German I visited the site where all intresting postings are and I find it so interesting, that I just have to share it on this forum, where the American Spirit is the rulle of the forum.
The finding are as following:
He is a high active in the German SPD partei Sozialistische Partei Deutschland English the German Komunist Party. On that site he is braging about his Anti-American activity and close to Joschka Fischer (Present Ausenminister Minister of Exterior and the former member of the Bader -Meinhoff Terorist Gang that in 1964 - 65 -66 killed more than one American GI's in Germany just because they wore U.S. Uniforms)
There is also references to the Americans as 'Amis' bad slang for Americans.
That guy its look like he knows that I fought the Communist and the Russian Komrades in 1956 in Hungary and therefore he is posting items that do not make sense or has any place on the Forum.

If I got the guy right he accuses me of being Mr. Gernot Erler instead of being Klaus whatever - based on a posting I once did on the guest board of Mr. Erlers web site
Mr. Erler indeed is one of our elected Bundestag members and belongs to the german social democrats (SPD) - all the points in regards to communists and whatever else I won´t touch as it is not really relevant besides showing obvious shortcomings in seeing and understanding reality.
What´s funny is that my only connection to Mr. Erler is that when the current ruling government of germany tried to establish new and stricter rules regarding private ownership of firearms I was bugging Mr. Erler (with him being the elected Bundestag member of the town I´m living in) with various emails and letters and postings (including his guest board yelling against getting no answers to multiple emails) until he finally "gave in" and gave me the opportunity to meet him in person to voice my concerns against the planned stricter firearm laws - reason being that I´m an activ sport-shooter in the local shooting club.
But what really makes my day is that the guy again pretty clearly shows what his problems are all about. But let me give you a hint anyway - if you really want to track me down - I´m "Klaus" on other boards too (actually this name somehow my parents came up with) - on a board mentioned in this thread already (I won´t name it to make it a LITTLE tougher for you) you then can easily find my REAL website with pics of me and my family too and using a tool openly available on the web you even can track me down then to my actual real life data - jeez - do I need to be concerned now ? But for your peace of mind - NO - I´m not Mr. Gernot Erler - not a Bundestag Member too (wish I would be once in while).
And to other watchers of this soap opera - isn´t this just typcial for a guy using such methods as advertising his products in using "undercover" aliases on community boards to accuse others of doing so (using undercover aliases like the "Klaus is Gernot Erler" thing) ? What really makes me wonder is the obvious shortcoming in using just a minor dose of plain common sense when trying to defame people like me or Al.
I mean what is easier for me than to show that I´m obviously not Mr. Gerler - while maybe its a little tougher for Al to "proove" that he´s not a "colored hair homosexual unintelligent uneducated person" as Mr. Goncz posted in the other thread thats maybe why Al didn´t tried to 
But to make my point clear - being an inventor of such a broad range of earth-shattering products I guess I would also be able to successfully discredit people with differing opinions about my products and whatever other issues with my "gonczing off" of people and not just make a laughing stock out of myself - but to each his own.

I'm giving him the chance to honor his commitments, no more, no less. He said he is going to, now he gets the chance to do so. Whether that happens is up to him.
Past that, I don't see how attacking him before he does so is conducive to anyone getting their problems resolved.

He seems to be the one that is attacking people in the most disagreeable manner.
The fact that he may well honor his commitments does not make it ok for him to use lies and personal attacks to slander people.

Actually whats again funny is that indeed my mother was born in rumania being the child of a german-born father and russian-born mother - during WWII they got "repatriated" to germany and flew to west-germany when the war was over and east-germany got left behind the "iron curtain". So that is my only connection to Rumania as far as I can tell - but in this case I again have no idea how that should relate to anything discussed in this thread so far
And in regards to keeping things in private and not posting it I really need to tell you Mr. Goncz that WHAT you emailed me in "private correspondence" certainly will not be considered worth that definition but I rest my case.

John, you aren't winning any points with anyone, especially me, by responding to *anything* in a negative fashion.
If you want to put the best foot forward, then you need to stop with the negatives. Period. Your time is better spent fixing problems (real or perceived) with your product line & getting people the merchandise they have been promised.
Do that, and your product will speak for itself. If it comes up lacking, then work to improve it. Attacking the people who could be your customer base doesn't do anything but make you look bad.

thanks for the clarification - as I posted above already its not me who didn´t got the paid for goods sent but Bernhard Kiessling, another german poster on CPF and BF.
After you promissed to look into the issues brought to your attention Bernhard posted in this thread, emailed CPF´s "Ted Bear" aka Jeff and also seems to have emailed you directly - so I hope the necessary information is available to you in the meantime. I actually was never personally affected and I never said so to my knowledge - so there is no product lacking or money paid from my side.
Regarding my mother she unfortunately never had the opportunity to learn much languages as due to the whole WWII turmoil being a refuggee and with her parents dying during the process and she as a young girl also having to take care of her younger brother there wasn´t much time left for what we typically call education. And yes I too think she was a nice and intelligent lady and I was quite sad when she passed away last year.
I really do hope everything gets resolved and after the old issues are out of the way you can have a clean re-start and as Kevin said your products can speak for themselves.
