Good blade for heavy abuse?

Why, because mass consumer marketing has brainwashed you into believing that load? Pure Bull Sh!t.

Clothes are just body coverings, cell phones are devices for communicating, knives are tools for cutting.

Fool.

Get a life. Don't you have anything better to do than thread crapping?

On another note, why is everyone assuming sexy = want to pick up chicks? I want a sexy knife for the same reason I want a sexy girl. I don't use one sexy girl to pick up another one.

I am a bit late to this thread but I have to say, Migo, let's not be so terse with other members. Cliff is the most knowledgeable member of Bladeforums and a very nice and helpful guy. Most of us are absolutely delighted when he offers his advice. Really, the last thing you should want is for Cliff Stamp to stay out of a thread.

Read again - I was talking to acolonelofcorn not Cliff, I actually thanked Cliff for his advice.

Go for a Leatherman Wave or any other decent multi tool. They've got all the basics and more.

I already have 2 multitools and a SAK like I already said in this thread. I don't need another one. I don't need another knife either, I want one. I have money to spend so I'm looking to get something that'll do what I want it to, which is a knife that can take abuse.

I suggest you try the Byrd Flight. It is well made and heavily built. If you tear it up you are only out $20.

I have to disagree with you there, a Sebenza certainly is sexy.

Then get a Sebenza, it's as durable a knife as I own. I got mine cheap on Ebay for $275. Great little knife, though I don't really like how it rides in my pocket.

I'm considering it, I'm not too up on Ebay shopping though and I recently almost got screwed over on another purchase I made online. Oh well, I've got some decent suggestions so far.

I have a tendency of using my knife for everything, even things it's not designed for - like loosening screws. I've chipped the blade working on an unusually tight phillips screw, so I'm wondering if there's any blades out there that can put up with that kind of abuse (on a folder).

I suppose I should have mentioned that I already have .. 2 multitools,

You know what's the sexyiest tool of all?

A Brain.

Are you 11 years old or just smoke alot of pot?

This is BC...the pot theory may well have some validity...

Maybe Both? LOL! I want this guy to get a sebenza or other expensive knife so he will feel really sexy right up to the part where he snaps the tip off.

I have a dark sense of humor, perhaps, but I would laugh my arse off at his misfortune.

Don't feel bad. That is a good start for a knife collection. ;)

Using a knife as a screwdriver is abuse. Unless you really enjoy snapping the tips off knives, I would suggest that you purchase a SAK or a multitool that has a real screwdriver.
