good old boys, Shiva Ki, & justice for all

OH THE HUMANITY!

I can tell that I've inadvertently wounded you... deeply, perhaps... with my calvalier treatment of literature. Life is filled with pain, Thomas, but I'll try to ease yours by penning a little-bitsy poem about my OWN pain suffered as a callow youth. The pain, the pain!! And the young girls!!!

Edited by Jimmy to remove silly poem.

HAHAHAHEHEHEHEhahahah meds, I need meds. I hope you've forgiven me for the book, Thomas. Such an unkind cut. And what the hell am I doing writing poetry when we're supposed to be discussing knives and cutting and Shiva Ki's work???? I ain't writin' another single word in this thread unless it's knife related.

As for the money not being delivered, it seems to me that postal workers have become a bit twitchy over the past couple of decades for reasons I cannot fathom.
I don't know. I remember us being pretty twitchy way back when I was in charge.

Stop by sometime and I'll tell you all about it. :)

Esav,

We need smilies with facial tics.;)

Would love to hear your stories, but we'd have to meet in the parking lot for you to relate them. I do not ever go into a post office. I find the quality of my photos posted on the wall to be offensive in the extreme. And the piddling rewards offered!!!! You'd think I was nothing more than a common knifemaker who never delivers on orders!

And now I've made myself out to be a liar for posting to this thread when the discussion is not directly connected to knives. Too soon old, too late wise.

Goodnight, All. I'm going to med... er, I mean bed.

Jimmy

The discussion is directly connected to knives. You don't think we go after people with rolled up magazines, do you?

Anyway in New York City we don't have room for parking lots so we'll have to meet in the street.

Bring extra meds.

Esav!

I wear a hat with a sign on top that reads, "Beware of this man. He is a master of Brick Fu, the Tao of Brick". I'm currently working on a book about this highly secret art.

I carry a bandolier full of those handy, and perfectly legal, 'blocks of lethality'... plus extra meds, of course... whether on the mean streets of New York, or in the back alleys of Bug Tussle, Alabama.

You don't need to bring bricks to NY. Just knock down a building and pick through the rubble! :D

Just remember the local law: any carry brick must be under 4".

Esav,

I could just make a pass through the Bronx and select my bricks from the buildings that are already rubble-ized.:)

Damn! I knew the former First Lady would pass some kind of 'brick length' law. She's no match for a sneaky su-thern Colonel, though. I'll bring plenty of my special 'sandal' bricks... enough for you and Thomas and friends. They're sculpted, ultra tough ceramic, with serrated soles, and have toe thongs and straps so that they can be worn by young children as all terrain footwear. Slip one of these Fu Babies on each hand and you're ready for action. Leave a mugger cooling on the sidewalk and the coroner's report will read, "Victim trampled to death by gang of toddlers". Let Madame Senator and her minions figure this one out.:D

Where's Sniper and Shiva? Join in the silliness, please... and then maybe we can turn this around to discussing knives instead of using brick fu on personalities. Otherwise I'm gonna have to write Shiva an email and extend a personal invite.

Brick Fu secret innuendo assination techniques revealed.

Me? I practice WingTipShoe :D

So you guys are saying a career at the post office would be a bad thing ;). Or just that I should always carry around a brick that has ROCK paper scissors written on it?

A career at the post office would be a good thing. Just sign out and go home early if one of your fellow employees clocks in with a shotgun sticking out of his backpack.

Most people, even close friends, do not realize that I am Chinese, in part because I look and act like a big drunken Irishman. The fact that both my parents are Occidental is merely accidental. I state these facts so that you will allow me to correct the spelling of the martial art you practice without taking offense.

The correct spelling is: Weng Tip Shu.

If you are an adept at Weng Tip Shu, you definitely have a foot in the door of the deadly arts, but it is only the third step up the forty-four rung ladder leading to the totally devastating art of Brick Fu.

I am accepting students. Call me. I have openings for students. I am taking students. All of the above is politically correct. Call me.

My original reason for entering into the "Shiva-Ki" discussions was simply to defend a principle, not so much the man.

My point was, and still is, that a man was being "bashed" by members of this forum, while he was 'banned'.

It makes no matter how many invitations he had to re-join, or re-instate himself to this forum.

I never had any qualm about his being banned for good reason.
It is my understanding he deserved to be banned.

The point *is*, he was being bashed while he was banned, and I do not think that is right, or consistant with any rules of "fair-play".

My question has been, ( to the members ) "do you think this is right?"

The question remains unanswered.

I have also suggested, because of what I have experienced here, that there is a "double-standard" in effect.
It would certainly seem so.

If I had delivered *half* of the denigrating comments, to one or all of the members of this forum., and delivered only *half* of the threats sent to me, by forum members, during these discussions, I most certainly would have been banned.
And you know it.

No one has been banned, however.

To make things right, there are some principle players in this drama, who, if they have half the integrity they allude to possess, should come forward and be accountable for their actions; which have not been "quite right."
This sort of thing, this accountability, I think, is not in the offing.
'This', would be the reckoning, ( settling of accounts ) I spoke of.

For me, this has been an enlightening, and valuable experience; knowing now, beyond a doubt, I would not wish to be a member of, or associated with a group, with standards as dishonest, and dishonorable as has been found here.

Thank you-all for your enthusistic participation, and some of you, for your humor, others also, for making some good and fair comments.
and mostly to the vast remainder, who proved my point.

This is my last post in Blade-Forum.

This forum is for discusstion about the Good bad and ugly.

There was some ugly behavior at BF. Naturally it has been discussed.

To follow your logic. IF the person behaves badly is banned then the behavior should not be discussed.

Like I have said. Dumb stance.

"The point *is*, he was being bashed while he was banned, and I do not think that is right, or consistant with any rules of "fair-play"."

The point is he was banned and that means not being able to participate in the discussions. If I recall Shiva ki threads were gone for awhile until someone posted in them and brought it back to to top.Do I think people should be able to talk about people that can't post? Yes I do.Banned means banned and not be able to respond.NO,you cannot prevent people from continuing a discussion due to their absence. The guy makes a very nice knife, and his behavior here was disgraceful.the end
