• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Got some new blades...

Andy?

You doing your own lamination?

If so, I have some shed snake skin that could look great on a handle.

Want it?

How would I use it on a handle... I'm a little stumped.

Uh...

I was thinking you make a handle, and soften the snake skin, fit it to the handle, and apply resin to encase it.

But laminating wood is different, I'm basically thinking of a "fly in amber" type display.

Maybe not. :(

The ebony/osage was turned down by the first guy I offered it to, so was the cocobolo/osage one.

Well I guess if you were wanting something frontier looking I could understand just plain slabs - but I thought it was a really cool idea, and looks really nice also.

I don't know about those other guys, I have one of Andy's two tone wood handles and love it!

Moot point anyway. Every one from that heat treat had cracks into the edge and had to be destroyed....
