Great eastern cutlery 25 beerlow

Are these (and other GECs) being released at sites that can be discussed here at the forum?
The short answer, for your very good question, is that here on the Porch, we generally try not to talk about the purchasing process (Fight Club). We talk about the knives.

Now, if you mosey on over to the GB&U subforum, we can talk Fight Club all day long, although most actual Fight Clubbers know to keep their cake holsters shut.

GEC has a list of dealers on its webpage. Contact all of them and get on all their mail lists.

I was lucky enough to get one in hand today. It is a neat little knife, albeit niche. Don’t have any bottles with caps, so lifter is untested. First impressions of F&F. I think this might drive the purists a bit nuts, because you’re going to lament the cap-lifter/blade on such a well executed 25. The saw cut covers, bolster, centering and dye job are excellent. I’d like a bit deeper red dye, but that’s a personal preference. The dye fade at the bolster gets pretty light - not quite pink, but on the verge. Seems like the pictures from from the GEC factory reflected pretty deep reds with minimal color fade at the bolster - so I’m sure I’ll be eyeing future pictures of those deep red examples with a bit of green envy ;). Tube artwork is minimalist and mine came with a pin. Pictures for effect:

That’s a nice Strawberry saw cut in my opinion! Really nice! Congrats!

It looks cool as a novelty, but I bet it's not priced as such. Probably one of the odd ball patterns shunned by users and in 5 years will be prized by collectors. But you never know.
I feel like I would ding the edge really good if I were to get a little to aggressive with popping a cap. The 1" blade would make a decent box opener, but so would a secondary pen blade on any other knife.
Covers are great though :)
