Great Eastern Cutlery Availability, Dealers, "Drops", Etc.: A Place for People to Vent

If you buy an oz. of gold or a bit coin one day at - say - $ 1,000.00 and a week later the value of same is $ 1,400.00. If you then choose to sell the gold or the coin for $1,000.00 rather than the new commodity value of $ 1,400.00, are you being nice or stupid?

steelnut steelnut - if you find someone willing to trade - as shown in your sig line - Waynorth Jig Bone Lammy 4 trade 4 Northwoods Freemont , maybe others aren't you then trading a knife that you likely bought for about $ 150.00 for a knife whose current value is $ 200.00 +. I don't understand why you are being argumentative with bbk357 bbk357 . Just asking o_O

Moderators should never initiate or sustain personal attacks on members.

This whole thread is about personal attacks,
Calling people out for selling here and on ebay
Trying to dogpile...
Now those people have a right to vent in this thread and so do I,
I am a paying member same as you.

I have no problem flipping or trading knives for a profit:)
I also have been known to buy flipped knives, I don't loose sleep over it.

Is there a way to know when GEC it’s completely done with a particular run and won’t be sending anymore knives to their dealers ? I want/need to move on you know LOL
(got an email from a dealer today while taking a nap saying they just got in another shipment of a few cocobolo 93’s. Of course, by the time I woke up they were all gone )

I know what you mean. I had given up looking for a cocobolo but randomly checked a dealer and there they were. Just a few hours ago. Thought the ship had sailed.... I wish you luck.

Noticing me calling you a hypocrite?
I meant for that to happen....
Lets go to PMs..is yours on?

No- I’d rather keep it out here on the forum in hopes that your mouth (fingers) will get you banned. That would make me very happy.

Having been one of six moderators on a very large gun form a few years back I know how threads can too easily go south into personal insult land especially when participants do not know one another. My stance then, and opinion now is that moderators cannot indulge in that behavior. That is enabling behavior and easily confuses members as to what is permissible and what is not.

This is a generally good and enjoyable forum, but some tolerated behaviors encourage me to spend less time here.

I think I lolly-scrambled me a coco this afternoon.
:D

Love the coco. It’s worth the scramble:
