Great Eastern Cutlery ( GEC ) group shots / photo requests

Looking at a 61 or 62 Half Congress and a 55 Wharncliffe Houndstooth. Can't decide.

I just ordered a #61 half congress with sheepsfoot main and pen blades. I came so close to a wharncliffe #55 in stag. No doubt if I can still get one in a few months I shall. (I've bought five trads since the start of May...oops)

from left to right:
GEC, #68 in Buffalo horn, GEC, #68Autumn in jigged bone, GEC #15 Antique yellow bone, GEC 71 in black derilin, GEC, bladeforum knife, 2012, GEC, 72 in ebony, no tube etc

Main blades

Secondary blades (or those with them)

I sense a theme. ;)

Beautiful set! :)

KYenglish: very nice selection, in array. I like your variety of sizes (including, widths spring-wise).

Thanks, Pertinux. It wasn't an intentional theme. I tend to prefer long pulls when I can get them. And GEC's Cocobolo is just too beautiful.

Since I started this TC Barlow SFO project, I have been trying to archive each variation.

There is one missing, and old Boiley is content to occupy my watch pocket today!
There are a few duplicates for my Sons, or Grandsons if any happen along.

Maybe when the rocking chair gets me, I can remember these days fondly!!
Sorry for the poor cell phone pic. I do scanning usually, but couldn't fit the drawers into the machine!:D

Wonderful picture, Charlie! Thanks so much.

... Don't rule out Daughters, or Granddaughters if any happen along. ;)

Charlie, if that's your whole collection, then it looks like the one variation you are missing is the single one I have:

the antique amber sawcut bone single clip blade.

Is there a reason you didn't want that one, or are you just messin' wit' my mind . . . . :D

Jeff, third from the left, middle row. I sorta experimented on that one with some dye - wish I had left it alone!:o

Nope, keep looking - you will find it!! (If not I'll tell you later!)

Sarah, my daughter, and all three (count 'em, THREE) granddaughters have zero interest in knives as we speak. But if they do some day, they will not be short changed!
I think my statement really meant "It would be nice to have a boy or two - just to complement those beautiful girls"!:o

First post, so here goes, missing knife is a single clip blade ebony

Yup, you got it, Shaggy!
I sold my last one, forgetting that I hadn't set one aside! sniff . . . . .
Now I'm on the hunt. Just missed one - but I will get there.

So this was more true then originally intended

Ill gladly give it back Mr. Charlow if you dont mind the usage marks :) I am sure you will have a duplicate of one I want eventually ;)

Yes - more true than I knew!!
Very kind of you, Jeff! We are not supposed to talk about trading/dealing knives directly on this thread, but I am confident I will find a mint one for the "museum"
Thank you so much for the offer!

My apologies, I hope the mods will understand, no bad intentions here!

No sweat Charlie, least I could do for ya. While I love the knife I would rather your collection be complete ;)
