Couple of side by side shots that might be helpful to some. First image is of the Northwoods Mini Moose (Top) and the Northwoods Norfolk (GEC#31 Pattern).

Thanks for the pic. I was just about to order a 21 when I saw that they were in 1095 and not O1. But then again their 1095 is excellent...tough choice.

I know what you mean. I assumed it would be O1 when I preordered a few months ago, and would have preferred it, but I still like it and will use it.

At first I started out Collecting 90% Spydies {more than most people know.} then I had a friend send me a #72 and then it went all down hill from there as I know own more GEC's than anything else and I finally figured out that I have a "VERY BAD ADDICTION" and need help bad.! I love em all ~~ but I have to have money to eat and have a place to stay but then I see another GEC that I just have to have or I am not going to make it through the day.! I even dream about Knives and what I am going to get next.! Now that is really bad.! HELP ME -- somebody please tell me how to cure this curse.! H.E.L.P.!!!!!!!!

wolf-man, that's a serious state, quite likely terminal!:barf: The only real answer is to send me (a more grizzled and experienced knife-druggie) your entire collection, bar one, for safe keeping. Just during your lifetime:D:D

As Oscar Wilde said, I can resist anything but temptation.

Bringing this back up. I'm sure lots of GEC group shots are out there and not in here... :)

Nice shot Trand, shows the variation on a theme 77. I still like the Forum Knife most of all, I suspect that being single-blade it has in hand ergonomics.....

Regards, Will

Thanks Will. Although the swedge on the Washington jack didn't catch the light at all so it's hard to make out a bit. The FK does feel good being single blade. The stag on mine also gives it a nice but not too swelled grip in the hand. Single blade knives were definitely my thing when starting with traditional knives but now I really prefer jacks. The Washington jack has all the bells and whistles but I think a plain jane Tidioute jack probably works best to my preferences. And I don't have one.... :(

For those of you with the Northfield Barlow…how comfortable is the knife with that Wharnie blade? Does it stick out too much?
