Great Eastern Cutlery ( GEC ) group shots / photo requests

Just got back the one I have always regreted, the 53 stockman. He was accompanied by a friend as a nost kind gift from a true gentleman Scott(quincygunner). I am tickled to have both and it seems, the 53/54 frame from GEC is dominating my stable. Thinks it time to hunt down the last few and then spread out to other big cigar knives. Thanks again my friend, the furtaker trapper will be most cherrished :)

Thought I'd add a few of my favorites here. I always like comparison shots when I'm on the hunt for one.... I'll post the names here so hopefully they'll be easier to find for other seekers.

First up is a GEC #12 Toothpick in Blood Red, a GEC #79 in Blood Red (the single spring on this one makes a very slim knife yet it is still very stout with a nice pull and snap) and a GEC #66 Calf Roper in Garnet.

Next up: GEC #89 Gambler in Calico Bone, GEC 81 Abilene Stock Knife in Copperhead, GEC #81 Coon Skinner in Staffordshire Blue and a GEC #92 Talon in Che Chen Rosewood.

GEC #36 Sunfish Coffee House And GEC #54 Big Jack Smoth Autumn Gold.

GEC #56 Weaver Jack Autumn Gold, GEC #15 TC Red Soup Bone, GEC #64 Babylon Hill Fire Brick, GEC #54 Big Jack Lava, GEC #48 White Seashell.

Dang it draggat! I haven't been overly interested in the 89, 64 or 54 until your pictures, now what?:o

So many choices! The 89 is really slender. But a nice handful for its size. The spearpoint version has a much more stout tip. The 54 is one of my favorite patterns. Those springs are real snappers. The sleeper hit is that 64 though. There's a bunch of them available at various dealers right now, including GEC's online store. Makes me wonder if GEC holds back a number of knives for later release because these were made a year and a half ago.

Perry, thanks for the compliments!

Those look familiar. I especially like that stockman.

Well thank you Todd. You know that stag bullet end is a real beaut. I was surprised how much I like that little 22. Great pair my friend

These are my little group so far,i am waiting on HM Customs to release a #09 Esquire in Bocote wood that was mailed at the same time as the Bullet Jack and a week before the Calf Roper they both arrived together, the CR came unmolested but i had to pay $30 import tax on the BJ, seeing as they cost about the same as you say over there "Go figure", just dumb luck i guess, anyhoo back to my dodgy photos.
All together,

Apologies for the poor photo quality - the Western Isles are experiencing an awful lot of precipitation and lacking an awful lot of sunlight.

Some 25 barlows

My GEC fixed blades. H10s, H73s, and H23s. All in 1095 except the White Frontier Bone H10 which is in 440C.

These are beautiful! GEC sure does make some fine fixed blades.

My favorite is this H23 Upland Skinner.
