Great Inexpensive knives

I love this one...

Cara cara 2 I make sure to put this into the rotation. I like it as much as my favorite regular Spydercos. The cara cara 2 is like a skinny endura or a delicate with more blade. This one is a chisel grind and man can it cut. It's super super slim in the pocket which is why I like it so much.

My favorite inexpensive (and great) knife and one of the most underrated out there - the Cattaraugus 225Q ($40).

My Kershaw cqc 7k is actually one of the best little cheap knives I own. Honestly it came with some of the best edge geometry of any knife I have ever owned at any price. This thing gets razor sharp! The edge is ground evenly too and seems to be ground narrower than most of the knives come stock. Along with the easy to sharpen 8cr14mov steel this knife gets viciously sharp.

I don't know how great it is but here's my offering. The $3.87 Ozark Trail from Wally (and China). I've been carrying it for about a year with no complaints.

I actually keep one just like that in my work truck and used it today. I read the thread here about them and figured for 4 bucks why not. It really is a decent beater.

Mora, Case, SAK, Opinel, Svord, and Buck all make really good knives that won't break the bank. None of them are the latest and greatest gotta have knives, but they will cut what needs cutting, will stand up to real use and last damn near lifetime for the fraction of what a lot of new knives cost. I still like the fancier new stuff too, but I don't feel like I am loosing much with these.

I second that. I have a kershaw emerson cqc6 and it came with an edge that rivaled spyderco's factory edge. And for 20ish $ it was a bargain

Id like to find some more for $40 but that happens rarely these days.

Luckily I bought most of mine, when they were in the 40-55 range.

My vote is on this and the cqc-4kXL, although I think the OP wanted a rainbow?

I just got this cheap "Elk Ridge" who I believe are a Master Cutlery brand - correct me if I'm wrong. 2 and a half inch thereabouts blade. So about half the overall size of the cqc-6k and about half the price. Some mystery stainless with a very attractive coating! Lock up's pretty good. Sharp enough, just stropped it a bit. Rainbow colours and small size seems to make it more acceptable amongst sheeples, would be the main attractive feature.

Just throwing this in there fwiw, lads! :p

Can't beat the performance of Opinel and Mora for the price. Also SAK's but I'm not exactly a huge fan of them.. Not tacticool enough
