Great lakes waterjet is a no pay for my services from back in 2009.

back in may of 2009 i sharpened 30 knives for greatlakeswaterjet and against good judgement i sent the knives back before getting paid. he did pay me for my shipping plus $50. twoard what he owes me that brought the ammount down to $230 still owed.

when i asked to be piad, he gave me the excuse that his wife took over his paypal and he said he would try to get me paid sometime. after getting calls from members wondering where their parts were that they paid for 6+ months in advance and never got, it made me curious to know if dave was feeding me a line of bs.

i decided to call someone that knew him and asked if this was true. not more than a minute later dave calls me up cussing me up 1 side and down the other, threatening me to the point i hung up on him.

it is now may of 2013 and i still havent been paid for my services. this has caused me alot of hardship. i just would like dave to settle up with me.

Hate to hear about this Richard. I'm not familiar with them, but not paying you in the last four years makes him a thief.
 
I'm one who rarely posts at all on the forums, but I read several times daily. I think less than $8 per knife more than a fair deal, especially from someone whose work is as highly recommended as yours.

Given that you have been recovering from surgery amplifies the need for him to do the right thing and settle this.

Here's hoping it works out, and that you continue on the road to a speedy recovery.

Hi Richard I'm so glad to see you posting hope your feeling better. Only a fool would refuse to pay up for your great service hope this gets resolved ASAP.

he's a liar and he lied when he said he paid me. if he paid me i would have no issues with him.

i have a buddy that does polygraph testing for the state of ohio. i know i can pass a polygraph test if asked if he paid me and the answer is no.

This is terrible. Amazing actually when you consider just how small this community is, that this guy thought he was going to get away with this?

Waiting four years to pay someone is ridiculous and suggests he never had any intention of paying in the first place. Guess he was hoping it would just go away.

I really hope he see's this thread and decides to do the right thing and settle up what he owes you.

Richard, I'm glad you posted this and sincerely hope you get the money you earned and is due you.
 
Richard has been talking to me about this for quite some time now. I know it's been hard for him to finally bring it to this point.
I was sure hoping it wouldn't come to this but sometimes people choose to do the wrong thing and need to be called out.
I hope Richard gets paid for his work.
