Great Movie Knives

I have a old Australian Shooting magazine some where. It has a writeup on it, Itry and find it. I beleve the same knife made a apperance In MAD MAX. Not sure what movie though. I think it said it was in Mad Max before Crocodile Dundee.

In the jailbreak scene in "Face Off" one of the guards stabs the prisoner who helps Nicholas Cage escape in the leg with a SOG SEAL Pup.

Good eye, it was only on screen for a split second...

I watched The Dark Knight a few days ago and wondered what blade the joker used when he was creepily questioning rachel at the fundraiser. A couple days later I walked into this kids dorm room and the knife from the movie was laying right on his dresser haha. It was just a cheap 440A stilleto. I was kind of disappointed.

I always liked the twin Karambits used by Lou Diamond Phillip's Character "Cisco" in the move "The Big Hit" .

Sorry I couldn't find any pic's but they were sweet.

I can't believe no one has mentioned the Buck 112 in The Electric Horseman. :D

I got one for you, dont think its mentioned yet.

I just saw Anaconda on the telly, and noticed a Ka-Bar of some sort on the hip of John Voight ( Paul Sarone )

And a Spyderco in the hands of Ice Cube ( Danny Rich )

Not sure of which model they were and i havnt found a picture yet ;)

The knife from Cobra Stallone uses taught me a new way to open knives when I was like 10. Great scene. See post #24 for picture.

Isn't that a microtech troodon that joker uses? In the "why so serious?" line.

Fairbairn-Sykes Fighting Knife used by William Holden in The Bridge on the River Kwai...

Here's a puzzler for ya. Don't believe it's been mentioned yet.
I don't think it's ever visible on screen enough to identify but
I could be wrong. It has happened before.
Tommie Lee Jones as Doolittle Lynn in Coal Miner's Daughter
takes out his knife to cut a slice of Loretty's Chocolate Salt Pie.
Knife then used as a spatula to remove slice from pan then as a fork
to transport pie slice to Doo's mouth. After spitting the pie into the
woodburner stove, Doo folds the presumably pie covered blade closed,
then returns the knife to his pocket before heading to the punch bowl
for some saline relief.
Not sure what kind it were, but definitely a multi-task user!

Me too. Would it really have killed the movie budget to spend an extra few hundred bucks and get a real Dalton? I suppose they just figure that the vast majority of the audience won't know the difference...and they're probably right.
