Great prices on Bucks web Specials page

Thanks for the heads up. I ordered a 118, one of my favorite BUCKS. I had to do it over the phone but it is on the way.

OK, one more time. If this doesn't work, look in last years catalog. Mine looks just like the one in the catalog.

Quick question, on the site, it show a brown leather sheath, I think? Anyway, did it come with one? It does look really nice & it is a great picture. Thanks for sharing.

Yup, it came with a "distressed brown leather sheath with pocket clip." Fairly non-descript, but I know a feller that can custom make me a sheath for it.

Nice one Jack! Let me guess who that fella is??? Humh...a fella named Jack?? btw, very pretty knife.

Mine are here on the 2nd of June. I think some else is getting thier new Bucks that day.
So some happy folks all around.

Gordon,

I like stockman's, just an ole cowboy at heart, and if I need a knife, I'll have one in my pocket, or on my belt, maybe a couple in my pocket, but everything I have is a user or I don't want it. I plan on carrying this one some, maybe not every day, but it'll get some pocket lint in it. Not the most expensive knife I've ever bought, but I think it holds down the number 2 spot.

I am fond of Desert Ironwood, though, and the Mammoth Tooth is a nice mix.

Jack:)

I'm sure you all will like what you see on June 2nd. We'll need pictures of course.

My UPS man comes by about 9pm or so and when he rang my bell last night, I thought it was on TV, my wife said, "You got a package on the front porch!"

Yup, I did.

You have dedicated UPS drivers where you live.. 9:00p.m
But then again, when your waiting for something that cool, I wouldn't care if they showed up at midnight :D

I ordered a 112 Elk last evening. Great deal! Just curious if it is NS or BR. Either way, still a great deal and can't wait to get it!

It seems like we are all getting our knives on June 2 !!! That is my date also listed on UPS....perhaps my 10+ day wait was planned so we all get them at the same time !!!...lol

I just checked and the 110, both 112's and the 118 are back up. The 301 with mammoth tooth is now gone. My guess is they are getting low and they took them off and then checked their stock. I am now torn, should I get some more?
Well, I just checked. The 301 mammoth tooth is back up.

Just got my Sirus yesterday. Was a little disappointed in the finish as the handle had several light spots around the middle star/torx screw which also has chipped paint on the head and small bur on it as if had been dropped. Am sure nothing that wouldn't happen after carrying for a while, but took some of the "new car smell" away from it. Otherwise great knife for me and am probably buying another.

My 118 D2 will be here tommorrow and am buying couple of those 112/500 see ya'll posting about. Not much more then a generic version so will pony up the extra even though will be using them. Any idea if the Rush has those inserts on both sides or just one? Prefer closed handles so never considered the Rush but if so would make a nice "dressed up for going out" knife!

Guess I have been inflicted with Buck fever as well, went to local shop this week for some shells and grabbed my first 119 as well as ordering a couple recomended AG series from Cabelas.

So started week with couple hand me down 110s and 184 and a long past bought Protege 450 and will end up adding a Sirus, 118, 119, AG and possibly 112/500s.

Just an FYI, I called Buck and spoke with Susan, who was a very nice and cleared up the 112 NS vs BR bolster question I had. The 112's are indeed brass bolsters & the NS wording will be removed from the description. I can't wait to get my new elk 112!!!

I just ordered another Mammoth Tooth 301 for a friend. Sale went through without a hitch and the confirmation was in my in-box before I could get there.

Jack

My 118 D2 arrived tonight. First 118 and first blade in D2 so excited to try them both out. Very pleased with how well it feels in balance and had a very nice edge on it.

Similar to the finish on my Sirus I recieved earlier this week had some initial "ohs" with it. Has a bit of "pop" within the handle when cutting like the tang has some play compared to my 119 I also bought this week but that might just be par for this design. It also came with a 105 sheath which I assume is due to being a special run and the blade length falling between standard models. Was hoping the sheath would be actual size to make even easier for wife to carry in the field plus it lets the blade rattle around in the extra room. Of course being a Buck rookie there may not even be a dedicated 118 sheath for me to look for.

Again, very new to Buck here but am impressed with how little more it is costing to buy these 6 Bucks this past week then the junk I used to buy and replace over and over each year. Nice knowing what I'm buying now will be ready for my 3 and 4 year old to have next.

I received my 425M Buffalo 500 today. Only $50, but I would have paid twice as much. It is beautiful. Very subtle but very attractive milky highlights. It is going to look even better when it acquires character marks as a user. I wish I had money left over for the giraffe 532.

I finally gave in and ordered the giraffe bone 532 today. Man, this sale they are having is putting a dent in the pocket book.

For people wanting to know what the 118 D2 and the Kalinga look like. I was able to buy a few knives at the annual Buck membership meeting. It is the bottom 2 knives. I bought all 5 knives today.

My web special knives are in Missouri.

Oh one more thing, both knives say "Custom" on the blade.
