Gso 6 vs 5.1

The sweet spot(s) for me are the 6 and the 4.7, though I am on the lookout for a 4.1 on the secondary market.

If my CFV 4.7 shows up I will probably put my 5.1s on the exchange.
 
You should also consider the 5 if you can find one on the secondary market. It's a just a little longer than the 4.7 but it's taller, thicker and heavier as well. Here's a pic of them. The top knife is a 7/7 which has the same cutting edge length as the 6.

If anybody ordered a new GSO 6 (or 2) and wants to possibly trade one off let me know. I didn't have the money to preorder one but have something well worth it that can be there in 2 days and I'll wait for the new 6.
 
Thanks for the comparison picture OBX, those original handles look blocky and stumpy to me now!
The irony is that the plain square handles used to be one of my favorite features of SK! knives, at least until I felt the new ones.

Love the ironwood handles!! It would be cool if S!K added spacers to their handles. I have them my ESEE 6, MUCK and Gunner 10 It really makes basic black or green handles look great.
