Great game tonight...man Phegley for the A's has an arm behind the plate...

Going to watch it tomorrow. I pay $20 a year for the MLB app, and I get a free game every day. Today was Astros/A's, but because of blackout restrictions, I can't watch it live. Will watch on my 55" TV after I mow the lawn. Will be drinking beer!

Jack Black once kindly sent me a ring opener pen knife with covers engraved with the name of a British company that made industrial belts. He included, among other thoughtful gifts, a little wrench called a button spanner that was used to install/remove the "buttons" that held together the joints between sections of belting.

Thanks for the explanation about the use of the word "pants". May I conclude that if "pants" is undesirable, then "no pants" is a good thing?!? :D:D

Whatever my lambsfoot of the week is, it has the honor of riding in one of Dylan's pocket slips from 2017. Here's Man Jack with the Guardians slip:

Morning GT, thanks for the explanation of what a 'button spanner' is. I'm assuming by industrial belts you mean drive belts in millwork set ups such as these.

And in regards to 'pants' I think no pants wouldn't mean good it would just mean chilly :D
The Man Jack is still looking fine in his suit of of stag btw.

And my apologies for the late acknowledgement, I've been not been able to get onto the forums properly due to illness in the family.

Good morning Guardians, hope you all have a nice weekend planned.

Hi Guardians,

I'm back from my hike, clean and tidy again, and enjoying a glass of wine :D Hope everyone is having a great day :) Trying to catch up a page at a time ;)

Time And Relative Dimension In Space

Very cool pic John  :)

Sorry to hear about your ongoing internet complications, Jack. :( I hope the frustrations end soon.
Your knife photo and the long winter some of us just experienced reminded me of these lyrics ;):thumbsup::
Just remember in the winter, far beneath the bitter snows
Lies the seed, that with the sun's love in the spring becomes the rose

Thanks GT, it seems endless o_O That's nice :)

I saw your post in the Lounge, Jack; congrats on scoring the thoughtful swag!!:cool::cool:
Accolades to OG and José for their generosity and kindness!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Union Jack has stripes, too:

Thanks again pal :) Yes, great acts of kindness, for which I'm very grateful :) Nice stripes

I had a neighbor once that routinely mowed before sunup, usually between 6:00 and 7:00 a.m., even on Saturday when I slept in most of the time. Not only is it a bad time to mow because of the dew on the grass, but he woke us up! Wanted to throttle him. Yes, Preston is very considerate.

I'm surprised he didn't get throttled by someone!

An angelic glow!:eek: Purdy, Jack!:cool::thumbsup:

...

A GREAT looking pair to be sure, Jack!:thumbsup:
Enjoy your fresh air time!

Yay! :) Great to see you here Dennis, and thank you for the kind words my friend, I'm glad you're safe

Here is a photo from western Oklahoma, super cell close to tornadoing...

Looks like you folks have had it hard Dennis :( Like you, I feel sorry for all those who bore the brunt of it :(

Great pic of that lovely oxhorn Lambsfoot

Thanks Jack.

Two yours that are my favorites! Have a great hike and weekend my friend.

Very very nice lambs. Great trio.

They are wonderful. The TEW is way gorgeous!

Thank you GT. Beautiful Spanish sunrise!

Thanks a lot Dwight, had a pretty good hike, despite a little unexpected rain :) This was about the only flat spot of the day! :D

Incredible photo. Your nightmare flood waters have reached us. The Arkansas is 16 miles south of us and will crest here Monday 11 feet above flood stage and is flooding homes many miles north and south of its banks. It is the highest ever recorded since the McClellan Kerr Navigation System was put in place in 1968.

Have a great weekend Guardians.View attachment 1138047

Blimey Dwight, I sure hope you're going to be OK my friend  Beautiful photo

Been absolutely heartbreaking for so many. If there is any consolation, at least there is some forwarning. The dang tornadoes can just pop out of some fronts. We do pray that you and your remain safe, and as little impact on the folks there as possible!

Thanks John. There has been plenty of warning so no loss of life should take place. But it is sad to see the heartache.

That's cruel weather :( Hope everyone stays safe and sound

I just hate not being able to catch up and comment on so many great posts!

You've had your hands full Dennis, and it is always great to see you here :)

Thank you, Vince.
It will be weird having both boys moved out of the house. :(

It'll take some getting used to

Blimey Dwight, I sure hope you're going to be OK my friend  Beautiful photo
We are in no danger Jack but there are so many folks who are experiencing a most tragic life altering event in the form of property devastation. :(

Well, Congratulations!

That's awesome! Congratulations to the graduate!

What a nice milestone. Congratulations to your Son and his very proud Family, John.

Good news John! does your Son have further education in mind?

Congratulations John :)

Congrats to your son on graduation John and have a great family weekend.

Thank you, everybody. The day was fabulous and my son had a great time. We had a little party in the park and it was great spending the day with friends and family. My son will be going on to college and majoring in math and minoring in music. His goal is to become a math teacher and maybe a band instructor/assistant. One boy an engineer and the other a math teacher, not sure where they got their love for math? :D :D :D
