Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Really having trouble getting online this evening, but I had a double dose of Guardians generosity today in the shape of two generous gift packages from @Old-gUY and @Pt-Luso (see https://www.bladeforums.com/threads...ales-vignettes.754492/page-1179#post-19037910)

Many thanks guys, you're the best :)
I saw your post in the Lounge, Jack; congrats on scoring the thoughtful swag!!:cool::cool:
Accolades to OG and José for their generosity and kindness!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Up Against the Wall, DamiLamb!!;) Another fine foto, Dwight!:cool::thumbsup:

My three A. Wright and Son Lambsfoot came in today. Pics tomorrow hopefully. Two questions for fellow Guardians. The lefty one in buffalo is a beast to open, will this loosen up a bit over time, and is there any way to hurry the process along? My stag knife is not centered very well at all, it's not rubbing, but pretty darn close, any suggestions? The lemon/lime jigged bone is the best of the three. Photos and touching up the edges for tomorrow...BTW where do I snag the Guardians banner to add to my signature?
Congrats on your new knives, and welcome to the Guardians, sir!!:cool::thumbsup::)

Congrats on the beguiling venerable "Venture", Harvey!:thumbsup::thumbsup: That blade shows that, with age, a lambsfoot can develop some belly!:thumbsup: (The same thing happened to me as I aged. :p)

Finally, the striped knives I admired today:

...
I've had the '19 with me for the past couple days.

That ironwood is lit, FBC!!:thumbsup::cool: (Do kids still use "lit"?)

Almost forgot to post a Lambsfoot pic

Sensational stripes in the sunshine, José!:thumbsup::cool:

Since I'm going to be without my computer for a few days...unless it's a quick fix...like telling me I doing something wrong. I'll try using my phone but don't know how that will work out.
Have a great weekend Guardians

What an impressive vista, Preston, with apparently limitless horizon!!:cool::cool:
Very thoughtful of you to consider your neighbors' sleep before mowing.:thumbsup: My wife always reminds me of that when I want to mow in the cool of the morning, and I reluctantly take her advice, but I tell her I'd prefer to give the neighbors an opportunity to share the joy and promise of a fresh new day with me!
I had a neighbor once that routinely mowed before sunup, usually between 6:00 and 7:00 a.m., even on Saturday when I slept in most of the time. Not only is it a bad time to mow because of the dew on the grass, but he woke us up! Wanted to throttle him. Yes, Preston is very considerate.

I've got it solved ice cream and beer yum. :p

And we thank you so much for all you do Jack. If it wasn't for your efforts most of us wouldn't even know what a lambsfoot knife is.:thumbsup::cool::)

I've been meaning to post these for a while (pls excuse the reflections & oil smears). I have a couple others, but they get left around the place...

- Two new Wrights - A rosewood w/satin blade and a polished blade with horn handle
- I added the older Taylor's eye. Not the finish of the Wrights, but robust, tight & snappy - made to work.

Very lovely shot, Gary! Just need a little lemonade and some easy guitar playing!:)

Since I'm hopelessly behind, I'll start up from today. I think the worst is over, and I hope any and that might have been affected by the tornadoes and flooding, recover quickly, and our prayers are with you.
Here is a photo from western Oklahoma, super cell close to tornadoing...

Incredible photo. Your nightmare flood waters have reached us. The Arkansas is 16 miles south of us and will crest here Monday 11 feet above flood stage and is flooding homes many miles north and south of its banks. It is the highest ever recorded since the McClellan Kerr Navigation System was put in place in 1968.

Have a great weekend Guardians.fullsizeoutput_199d.jpeg

Been absolutely heartbreaking for so many. If there is any consolation, at least there is some forwarning. The dang tornadoes can just pop out of some fronts. We do pray that you and your remain safe, and as little impact on the folks there as possible!

I'm thankful you and yours have been spared so far this season my friend. Life goes on. But as you say, it will be rough on many.

Thanks, Dennis. I LOVE magnolia trees. There are a few here, but not like you see in Louisiana, Mississipi, etc. Might be my favorite tree.

Thank you kindly Dennis. May you and yours, and all the citizens be safe. That image of the super cell fully conveys the threatening condition far more than any words. Perhaps it’s my imagination, but actually see a face in the cell. Then there’s the flooding. It must take a lot of courage. Smoke and prayers sent. Always glad to hear from you, Dennis.
