Good Morning Guardians
Yesterday was a long and hot day at the DCI event. My son't corps won the Open Class again, and their World Class corps took second. ...
Congrats on their continued success, John!

Thanks Gary, I always cut my hair with comb # 1 of the machine and I do it normally every 15 days, now in the Summer I do it every 8 days!

That's high frequency hair cutting, José; impressive!!

Looking good Jack

when I receive my Rosewood it will be called "The Wild Rose" named after Alberta's Provincial Flower.
Sound like a great name, Dave!

Freshly-Arrived Hartsheads On Parade!!
Received this morning, my Stag Hartshead Barlow. Thanks Jack
Congrats on the stellar stag Hartshead, Chris!

Received today and opened with relish! Fantastic knives and treats!
...
Thank you Jack!!!!

It's too dark for good pictures, but a box of treats and treasures arrived today! I'm overwhelmed!
Thank you, Jack!
Congrats on the Rosewood Barlow, Rachel!

And not only that, it appears to me that Jack sent you his legendary kitchen table - NO WAY!!

...
Mail Call today was a ecstatic time, the anticipation is over, and such a grand parcel!
Just Awsome, Jack! Thank you again!!

...
...
Congrats, Dennis, on taking possession of that glorious stag Barlow with the lambsfoot blade!

GEC Wizards Are Casting Lambsfoot Spells!!
What a fantastic week of knives it has been! Everything I had hoped it would be arrived today. Fantastic fit and finish, w&t, jigging, pull is nice and strong, all steel... Very excited about this beauty. Absolutely perfect job Charlie!

Charlie and GEC have reached knife Nirvana! I do not have the words for these.
Congrats on both a jigged bone and an ebony version of Charlie's new lambsfoot offering!!!

I don't know what else to say! Breathtaking knives that leave this Muggle speechless in the presence of GEC Wizarding magic!
Marvelous Miscellany!!

Have a good one,
OG
OG, I'll bet your sensational AC will be Always Cherished!

...
Afterwards, it was time to work on my favorite kind of lambsfoot math:
It's presented as an addition problem above, but I tend to think of it more as a fraction reduction problem: as in "let's reduce this pile of cardboard to a faction of its size so that it fits in the recycling bin."

...
Admirable job of putting your investment to work, Greg!

I liked the lambfoots equation, even though I was a little slow in catching on to the symbolic representation!

...
Thanks, GT. I'm just thrilled that he is involved in such positive adventures.

That was great! Post of the month, GT.
Wonderful Old-Timey looking picture.
But I'm still waiting on X, Y, and Z...
5K Qs
Fantastic post, GT. Like has already been said, Post of the Month - maybe the year.

Too bad you didn't get to "X"

Maybe something to do with Xterrestial Xylophones

Great post.
I appreciate your positive reactions, John & OG.

X, Y, and Z are exercises left for the reader (but I'll confess I've got NOTHING for Y besides an astronomical definition of "year"

).
I always thought it was "Now go, cat, go!"
Carl Perkins and I apparently learned to count in different schools, Vince.

I had a pair of blue Hush Puppies (and a pair of tie-dyed Chuck Taylors) when I was a college student, but I don't know what became of them.

when ever I see you have quoted one of my posts it puts a smile on may face! Thanks GT!!!!
...
Just like Taylor said my friend I always get a big smile when I see your posts. Thanks GT!
...
Thanks, gents! It's so easy and enjoyable to comment on all the great posts! ...
Thanks, Taylor and Dwight

, but, as Dennis astutely points out, I'd have no posts without yours to which I can reply! Taylor, that was a fabulous photo of your four-lamb flock/family!

Apparently shipping from the U.K. is a bit faster than I expected. I just checked the mail and had a nice little surprise waiting for me. The A Wright and Son sway back ("shaped") Lamb's Foot came in!
...
Thank you to everyone who has posted in this thread, it's really opened my eyes! I'm an absolute fanatic for sway backs, wharncliffes, and carbon steel, so I feel like this should have clicked with me much sooner, lol. I also just received an email that my Waynorth Lamb's Foot shipped today! It's been a good day.
Congrats on the basic rosewood lamb,
@Fixall!

I have one that I'm very fond of.
...
Holy Variable Vocabulary, a Very Variety of Vernaculars, Batman! That should be pinned at the top!

Thanks for the kind comments!
And a very classic photo of yours, Gary! Well done!

...
Thanks for the flattery, Dennis.

Your example is very vivid and vigorous!
...
The Jeep Wave is very friendly, makes me feel like part of a club.
...
I never even heard of the Jeep Wave until last fall, but it seems to this old farm kid to be much ado about nothing.

50 years ago when we met a vehicle on one of the gravel roads, everyone raised a finger or two off the steering wheel in greeting/acknowledgement. I think we had to practice that in driver ed classes!
...
I took a mail call earlier today and retrieved not just one, but two different Lambsfoot knives. One from our very own Jack and the other (through indirect means (aka, a dealer)) from Charlie.
...
Nevertheless, here are couple of teaser shots:
...
One of Charlie's and
One of Jack's.
For stunning lambsfoots
Dylan never lacks!!
