The difference in age makes a difference I think Dwight, Laphroaig is commonly sold at 10 years, Lagavulin is not sold at under 16, which inevitably adds greater complexity and character (and price). Lagavulin has more smoke and peat I think, and less iodine. Both are powerful whiskies. Great pic my friend
