Great picture! That reel looks like an oldie but a goody.
Well, sounds like you've had a good day, Jack. And I see you've got Crocs in England!Hi Guardians,
Hope everyone is having a good dayI'm tired, but survived child-minding in one piece!
We had tea and biscuits (cookies), and some of the jelly beans Vince sent me recently (not the Tabasco ones!
) with a game of cards, then went for a walk in the woods with the dog. We found an enormous patch of blackberries, and some mirabelle plums, so picked some of those. After lunch, and some tea and Jammy Dodgers, I was entertained with magic tricks, stand-up comedy, and acrobatics. Then, while the youngest two played on the trampoline, I did some fire skills with my mate's eldest lad - ferro techniques, different tinders, and then fire and steel, followed by some whittling, and knot-work. I had a cup of coffee, and then played darts with my friends' little girl, while the two lads read their books

That cord is some handy stuff. I keep a bit of it, with a good sized sewing needle in a emergency kit for backpacking.
That's a good looking pic and a even better looking HHB.
That is the truth!
Love the pic.

Jack, Ron, GT, and others - good to see you holding down the fort .......... or should I say propping up the porch !!
Still alive and well - still fishing and have taken up match flintlock long rifle shooting the past two years. Still have all of my knives and lately the expensive long rifle hobby.
Going to the CLA show in a few weeks and have my eye on a stag fixed blade knife that I might try to acquire. Enjoyed looking at your fine knives today !
Ron - very handsome lambs foot !!!
