A week ago today I finished digging 14 post holes in my front yard where the posts for our vineyard will go. This wrecked my back the worst it's been since 2012 (when I was flat in bed for three weeks and needed a cane to walk for another three). I only needed the cane for a couple of days this time, but I have missed a lot of work - I think I've only put in nine hours total since then.
There was a discussion of canes here recently; my Cold Steel African Walking Stick has always served me quite well. Still carrying the HHB (partly because it's too hard right now to get into the low drawer where my other lambs are). Hopefully will be back to full speed by the end of this week.
Nice pile side shot pal![]()
Good morning Guardians, me and Matt had discussed doing something with his kids today, but when he asked his little 'un what she wanted to do, she answered, "SLEEP!"I need to go into town, pick up some bread, and get some jeans taken up, as well as call in the bank. I'll definitely be calling in the cafe too
Carrying this TA Lamb today. Have a good one Guardians

Thanks Steve, it's lovely, sunny weather here, I can barely see my comuter screen or keyboard with the sun!I've just had a toasted Hot Cross Bun after getting back from town. I dropped off my jeans at the Polish tailors in the market, did a bit of shopping, and spoke to Tool Man on the phone - got no more sense out of him than usual! Thanks buddy
You too pal !
Thanks Jack.Very handsome Bob![]()

Thanks buddy, the hordes were definitely out in force this morning, but at that relatively early hour, the young uns hadn't yet had too much sugar, and were relatively docile, while the owd uns were still deluded into thinking they could cope! Thanks Jack.
May the hordes leave you in peace.
Fantastic IXL Steve, and a great shot buddy
Really like the burnished scales.

This is so special! Thanks a lot Steve, my lollgagging/housework was interrupted by Matt, who was heading up to the supermarket to buy flowers for his mother, who was visiting later. The supermarket happens to be next door to the pub, so he wondered if I fancied a pint in the sunshineI decided to get a bit of shopping in myself, and by the time I had come out of the supermarket, Matt was sat outside the pub with a pint, and the flowers beside him. I got myself a pint, and we ended up having a couple, and then walking back down the hill
I wish I could send you a few old files Jer, but the postage would probably leave me destituteI used to get them for Stan Shaw, who particularly liked half-round files, and they are still on his bench in the Sheffield museum
